Hi.

So recently my excellent plan of getting an xbox360 and hooking it up to my current lcd backfired.. So im now looking for a cheap second monitor for the xbox360 so i can leave my pc how it is.

Now im aware that the resolution aspect ratio is different in lcd monitors, so i was searching around.. and i found this!!

http://c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=13545

Nice and cheap (New Zealand $ btw), small, and then i noticed somethign that grasped my immediate attention: the native resolution for this lcd = 1366x768!!

Now according to the xbox360's High Defination Details:

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360prosystem/highdefdetails.htm

this is almost a perfect match with the xbox360's second highest supported resolution (6pixels off in fact :P)

So the question is: is this lcd monitor a good option? And how will the image look on it? will it be stretched in anyway (bare in mind that i WILL select the 1360x768 res in the xbox360's dashboard options)?

Your help is much appreciated.

Cheers

Haha sweet as.

Cool, i just wanted to be sure that it wont be damaged in anyway if the adapter is unused as for now. And for the sound you ask :P

Im going to un my pc through my monitrs little speakers, and hook my stereo (which is currently my pc speakers) up to the xbox360 sound using simple rca that comes with the Xbox360 HDMI set :P

sounds good ? ;)

Hi.

Today i purchased an adapter for my lcd monitor (HPvp17 17" LCD), and have got it plugged in and setup now. The adapter is an HDMI adaper for my DVI port on the monitor. So i have this adapter all set up but its unused as of this moment.

-im getting an xbox 360 very shortly and i have set this up so that i can run the xbox360 HDMI cable into my monitor while still be runnign the monitors VGA into my pc, thus allowing me to switch between the inputs with the push of a button ;)

My question is: Will have this unused adapter now, hurt my monitor in anyway? because its plugged into the DVI slot, so will the monitor be trying to pick up a false signal?

Help is much appreciated.

Cheers

Do you think its too late to get a 360 in mid 2008? maybe sometime around late april/early may?

I just want to play games decently +online.. i have a decent computer, but i dont want to spend all this money upgrading it if i can buy an xbox360 for the same price as a good graphics card :P

Do you think its too late to get one? will they be releasing next gen consoles anytime soon? or is it a good idea? :)

Cheers

Hi

I just updated killzone: liberation. on my psp, however the updates are still present on my memory stick under the GAME > MEMORY STICK, library..

I was wondering: Since I have already installed these updates, may I now be able to delete them off my memory stick? Or must they remain present on the memory stick in order to keep the game updated?

Your help is much appreciated :)

Cheers
