Almost Somewhat Kinda Nearly There...

Hey all.

As the obnoxious title implies, I'm just about done with my finals in school. So far, here's how each one went:

Piano - nailed the song just about perfectly and got an A+ for it. =)

CP English IV - we got the project in on time and made it look respectable. We'll find out how we did soon enough. =)

Algebra III - out of 46 points on the exam, I only missed one. That's most likely an A+. =D

Physics - finished this one today and I'll learn how I did tomorrow. I also got a load of bonus points on it. =D

NSL Government - soared through the exam and my grade in the class is a 99. =D

Spanish II - completed the exam but still have a few assignments to turn in tomorrow... They're easy though. =)

Pre-Calculus - I turned in the exam and I got a B, which is respectible. I checked my grade for the semester, and it is a 90. =D

Just one more day and I'm free for two weeks. I'm planning on doing something tomorrow at school and I may tell you guys about it. If I decide to go through with it, I mean. =)

Until next time...

The Obligatory Difficult Final Week of the Semester

Hey all.

As the title implies, I have a packed schedule with school work this week. Before that, let it be known that I had a good weekend. Played some good games, watched some good TV shows and good football games, and got some work done.

Anyways, onto the list of activities...

Piano - We have the finals this week, which involves playing two short songs or one longer difficult song. I'm on the advanced book, so I have to take the latter. Nonetheless, I've been practicing the song and I believe I'll do alright on it.

CP English IV - Our final project is due tomorrow, but Ms. Schoen is giving us until the end of the hour tomorrow to finish it. To be honest, I still have quite a bit to do on this project before it's ready for submission. Better get to that soon...

Algebra III - I got a perfect score on the test we took the other day and I feel confident for the finals this week, seeing as how most of what was on the previous test will be on the finals. Log(3)9 = x is one such type of questions, called logarithms. In this case, x is equal to 2. Log(x)y = z is a way of saying that x raised to z is y. =)

Physics - Not much beyond the basic final exam. Last I checked, my grade was a 90 and I hope to maintain that in the final exam. I expect everything from the physicists project from last quarter to torque, which we covered last week, to be on this test. Weight is equal to mass times acceleration due to gravity (9.8 meters per second squared.). Who would've guessed I'd possibly be teaching you guys this stuff?

NSL Government - Apparently the basic final exam. We cover everything from the basics of government to the judicial branch, which we just finished last week. I have a very good grade in this class and I aim to maintain that. Each state has 2 Senators and the Representatives are based on a state's population. (Man, I have to stop that.)

Spanish II - The basic final exam. From conjugation to sentences, I expect a variety of things on the test. Me gusta Mighty B! (I like Mighty B!)

Pre-Calculus - The test I'm most anxious about. Not only because some of the material is tricky, but because I lent out my notebook to one of my peers last week so he could copy my notes and I've yet to get it back, and it's someone who has a knack for losing things that I give him... To make matters worse, I misplaced my review sheet (along with some of my Mighty B! sketches). However, I have the textbook and I can make it through this test.

Needless to say, I have a packed schedule. Fortunately, this is the last week before the semester ends. Five more days and I'll be free for two weeks. Video games, TV, drawings, 'net time... Yeah, it'll all be worth it. =)

Until next time...

Mighty B! Figure Skating Routine

Hey all.

School and life in general are going well for me. I had a test in Algebra III that was pretty easy and I will know how I did on that test tomorrow. I'm practicing a semi-difficult song for my final in Piano. I'm maintaining my work at home.

Anyway... Onto what I mean by the title. After playing Dream Figure Skating in "Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games" for the Wii, I thought up a similar show with a Mighty B! twist on it. There's four skaters and they all skate simultaneously.

"This show tells of a troop aiming for the top spot."

Act I: The skaters begin in a rink with the background designed to look like the rec center. A cheerful, orchestrated mix of the song "Running with the Rainbow Unicorn" plays as the skaters do their stuff. The show beings with all four skaters spinning around for several seconds. After performing numerous twirls, jumps, and balances, the skaters move off for the moment.

Act II: The lights dim and a background designed to look like a warehouse is moved in. The lead skater looks puzzled and asks, "Did we take a wrong turn?". The second skater says, "This is Pier 31, right?". Then a voice says, "Wrong. This is Pier 13." Suddenly, ice sculptures break through the floor and surround the four skaters. "You're in Black Widow territory now." the voice says. A suspenseful orchestrated mix of "I'm a Feline" beings to play as the skaters strike their poses. After numerous twirls and jumps, the lead skater performs a solo lap and a spin before the act ends. "Come on! We have to get to the right pier!" says the lead skater before they all move off.

Act III: The sound of cheering is heard as the lights brighten. The background looks like the bay area surrounding Alcatraz. A "perfect" rainbow appears across the sky as the music starts to come in. The skaters strike their poses as a lively, orchestrated mix of "Buzz Off" plays as the skaters move across the rink, jumping, twirling, and balancing as necessary. As the music is winding down, the background changes to match the same design as the first act. Much like the Dragonflies special, the show ends the same way it began, with all four skaters spinning around for several seconds and striking their final poses as the show ends.

Yeah, I really went all out with this. I'm not sure why, but I can imagine things like this perfectly. It's designed like the game's engine and the character models look perfect. I can't explain it. =) In fact, I even thought of me and some of the other Mighty B! fans from the forums here coming and performing this routine. What's even stranger is that we pulled it off perfectly.

If you haven't already, head over to Nick.com to check out a clip from an upcoming episode of Mighty B!, "A Pirate's Life for B".

Until next time...

During My Abscence

I haven't been on much lately and quite a bit of things have happened. Well, here is why I've been preoccupied the past several days.

For school, I have two semi-large projects that are due on Monday for English and Physics. The projects don't require much research but they do require quite a bit of thought and I still haven't gotten around to them. I'm glad it's Saturday so I still have two days to work on them.

At home, I've been dealing with the pleasures of family. The past two days have been spent playing "New Super Mario Bros. Wii" with my brother and sister. While it was fun, the way that my brother kept getting frustrated and blaming my sister and me (but mainly me) for all the mistakes that happened kind of detracted from the experience, so much that I almost don't want to play with them anymore. All of these swear bombs and talk about me not being a team player were common and I feel that I just need some time off from them.

Also, have you noticed the "variety" in Nick's schedule this weekend? It's enough to make a longtime Nick fan shake their head and wonder what the hell has happened to their favorite network. Sorry, but I just wanted to say that. =)

Until next time...

Happy Thanksgiving

I'm hoping you all have a good holiday. =)

I'm doing well despite reading a disheartening announcement on the Mighty B! boards a little while ago. I really hope it isn't true... I have two school projects I have to work on this weekend but right now I just don't feel motivated to do anything...

Sorry about that, I just had to get it off my chest. On a happier note, I finally got "New Super Mario Bros. Wii". It's awesome. =)

Until next time... =)

A Momentous Occasion for Me Today...

I was named the Senior of the Month for November at my school. =)

Essentially, that means I was the highest-performing Senior at my school for this past month. It was a pleasant surprise but a welcome one, I assure you. There was a luncheon at one of the local restaurants for the Seniors who received that award from the other schools in the region. All of the Seniors were introduced and then given time to talk about their achievements and plans. This is more or less what I said...

I told the people that I never really participated in extracurricular activities, unlike everyone else who had quite a list, because I'm more needed at home due to the fact that the adults work most of the time. I admitted that I had my share of bad times and I knew that everyone could relate to that. I told everyone that if you keep working at something, then you can accomplish it. I also sort of quoted Mighty B! and said "It's not about what other people think about you or maintaining a flawless record, it's about being the best you can be." Afterwards, I thanked all the people for their support and for coming there. The room applauded and I took a seat.

Afterwards, my mom told us that the whole room practically went silent as I was talking and one of the people even complimented my speech afterwards. Despite looking the least impressive at first glance, my mom and sister felt that I practically crushed everyone else with my speech. =D

So yeah, it was a great moment for me.

More of Mighty B! Game Idea...

Now that I finished cooking and eating dinner (yes, I cook), I felt that I could tell you more about this...

As the title implies, I worked out another section of that Mighty B! game idea I first told you about the other day. This would be one of the later games you unlock...

It would be called "Revenge of the Cousins". On a difficulty scale of 1 to 10, it would be a 9. =)

Portia and Chelsea demand revenge! Will they finally defeat their common foe?!

Head to Alcatraz to save Ben and Happy from Portia and Chelsea! Careful, they're serious this time!

The game starts with Portia and Chelsea plotting how to get ultimate payback on Bessie. The two manipulate the other Honeybees into taking Ben and Happy onto Alcatraz and leading Bessie to them. The game follows the same path as Dragonflies (which, as I said, would have a condensed version in the game) except for a few twists.

Level 1: Dusk Hills (The park)
Level 2: The Dark Pier (Pier 13)
Level 3: Twilight Port (Pier 31)
Level 4: Battle in the Bay (Sink the ship commanded by Portia's cronies)
Level 5: Portia and Chelsea's Last Stand (Alcatraz)

After the third level, the dolphins agree to give Bessie a ride to Alcatraz. On the way, she's intercepted by a ship commanded by some of Portia's cronies, including her "dumb brothers". After Bessie sinks the ship, the dolphins hurl her onto Alcatraz.

As Bessie heads through the level, Portia and Chelsea make comments on her progress and seem to slip into madness. Bessie encounters the Honeybees near the end but they don't want to stall Bessie because they're questioning their admiration of Portia. However, they warn Bessie not to go further because Portia and Chelsea have a trap waiting for her.

Bessie heads into the center of Alcatraz and finds Ben and Happy safe and sound. Before she can free them, however, she has to face one last challenge: an intimidating, dangerous fighting machine controlled by Portia and Chelsea, both of whom are hellbent on destroying Bessie once and for all.

...Too dramatic, you think? Well, I appreciate feedback. =)

An Idea I Have for a Mighty B! Game...

I recently played "Kirby Super Star Ultra" on the DS and it gave me inspiration for a Mighty B! game. Instead of one single game, it would be a variety of games in one place.

I'm thinking that it could have a handful of platformer games (think Mario) to choose from along with some smaller mini-games. One I had an idea for was a condensed version of the Dragonflies special. Another one would be when Bessie and her friends are on a treasure hunt and you have to find as many items as you can, some of which come from other Nicktoons. The treasures could be things like a Golden Spatula, a Magic Wand, and a Fenton Thermos.

While we could have multiple games to pick from, there's really only one that I've worked out completely...

"The Tournament"

Why can't people stop fighting? When the Bee raises her fist, even the strong tremble in fear...

Every boss you've fought is here! Think you can defeat them all?

This would be the last game you unlock. The story revolves around the Superhero Badge. Due to the high difficulty of getting it, no Honeybee has ever earned it. However, for one Honeybee, it is the last badge. To earn the badge and become the Mighty Bee, Bessie heads to this tournament to face every boss that you fought in the adventure games with one life, one power-up, and only a handful of Taffy (which restores her health) to help her along.

I might post more of my idea as time goes on. I'd like to see what some of you guys think. =)

14. Am sitting here writing this blog

Yeah, it was extremely unproductive. That's the way days off are supposed to be. =)

If you haven't already, head to Nick.com to see two new clips from the upcoming Mighty B! episodes. Here's my opinion on each clip:

"Hive of Darkness": It was pretty funny to see how the bees acted and what happened to Portia. It makes one wonder how she could've provoked said bees. I give the clip an 8.5.

"Bad to the Bee": Seeing Bessie take a turn for the dark side, I let out a dramatic gasp. It definitely looks to be very interesting. I give the clip a 9.0.

That's pretty much it. Talk to you all later. Don't forget to throw in your two cents on the Mighty B! contests we've got going on. =)

Bigger Badder Saturday!

It's likely old news, but Nick advertised for a new event next Saturday entitled "Bigger Badder Saturday". It's premieres of Penguins of Madagascar, the new show, Fanboy and Chum Chum, Back at the Barnyard and, most notably, The Mighty B! On the same subject as TMB!, there is a clip from one of the new episodes along with clips from last year's Thanksgiving episode on Nick.com.

Naturally, I'm planning a "Ben and Cherry Watch" story for that ad. =)
