@129260: At first they were a good looking group of guys who played catchy pop music, who just so happened to be lucky enough to come along at the perfect time. But they were also very talented individuals, and they weren't afraid of experimenting. Personally, I've never liked the Beatles. Just not my style. But there is no denying the impact they had on the world and music in the 60s.
@Dannystaples14: A quick search of various sites in various major markets (US, Germany, UK, Japan, Sweden) are all showing competitive SSD pricing well under a $1/GB after conversion. Maybe if you live somewhere like Brazil, with crazy import taxes, it might be that high, or higher. Obviously, I don't know where you live, but to say that it's that high anywhere not the US is just factually incorrect.
@Verenti: It's not that I disagree with you. I actually agree with much of what you said, but there are better ways of wording your thoughts so you don't come off so harsh, or without watering it down, come off sounding like a pompous a-hat.
@Lord_Sesshy Well, that's like comparing apples to oranges. The SHO starts at $40k brand new, where as a brand new WRX starts at $26k. Of course in a straight line, you're looking at ~360hp to ~265 stock, so an SHO gets the nod, but put it on a windy road course or a figure 8 and we're looking at a different story. With the WRX you also get the manual gear box and much more of a 'drivers' car so to speak. Plus, you take that extra $14k and you easily get the WRX over the 300whp at around 1000lbs less heavy on the overall curb weight...not even a competition at that point, and you still have $9-$10k left over. But the SHO does have it's pluses. More spacious and comfortable, more 'grown up', etc, but still a good performer. If I was looking for a family sedan, it would definitely be up there. Again, apples to oranges.
