@leviathanwing @FaeLKuN @Big_Pecks Not exactly. Even IV, wich were one of the most restricted old-school FFs, had more freedom than XIII. I understand the illusion you're talking about, but you can't deny the tons of side-quests, exploration and things to do in IX or XII, for example. I also don't like X because it's too linear for me.
@Proftally @crix01 There's rumors that Versus XIII was initially planned for the SNES era, but SE missed it... who knows, they can miss another 1 or 2 generations xD
@Big_Pecks The thing that I fear the most is the linearity of the trailer. Too much action and no real solid-RPG mechanics, at least for now. What killed XIII was the linearity, hope that XV doesn't have that same faults...
They could easily port both to PC then, with even better graphics considering actual hardware for the platform. I would definitely buy a PC version if it ever comes to life xD
Finally some news on Versus XIII, but I'm actually worried about this. That trailer was very good, but it only had cinematic sequences and linear straightforward action. It will be such an HUGE disappointment if XV proves to have the same faults as XIII... but anyway, I hope that SE shows us a huge world to explore, with tons of side-quests, in a deep and complex RPG for its fans (:
Sutherland is a great actor, and I'm sure that he'll do his best, but Snake just didn't seems like Snake without Hayter's voice. Hayter is a great actor too, and has made a legacy on his role as Snake in all those years. I think it just don't make sense for a character to change his voice so drastically...
@DeViLzzz @FaeLKuN Yeah, I can see that happening D: Microtransactions and the evolution of On-Disc DLC: On-Cloud DLC D: I hope that we're all wrong, really :c
