@Mirimon78: I see your points and agree with most of what you say. However.. I guess PC gamers who have "always" been PC gamers from the get go will not understand a console gamers mindset on why some of us are dead set on wanting to own a gaming console.. Despite how weak it may be in hardware when compared to mid to high range PC's.

- I grew up on the nostalgia and have fond memories of brand name console systems.. Like Nintendo, Atari, Sega, PlayStation etc..

- The ease of use, controllers over keyboard and mouse and playing on a TV (I know you can hookup PC's via HDMI).

- Console exclusives that will never see light of day on PC.. There still exist certain titles and franchises. Yeah.. Tho I know there are emulators for PC to run a lot of the stuff from consoles.. But it doesn't feel the same.

Anyhow, I'm not going to go on and on. I don't want to have this turn into an argument on which is better. I actually have a decent Sager customized gaming laptop that ran me upwards of $3k. I just don't consider it my primary gaming choice. There will be some games that are only available on PC that I will play from time to time. Looking forward to Black Desert Online, Blade and Soul etc.. Mostly the MMO's.

You guys forgot to mention that PS4 "still" does not allow for external USB HDD support for game/dlc installs. Why Sony hasn't added the ability in yet, is beyond me. I've already swapped out my drive to a 2TB once.. However, once game installs are consistently 60GB or more.. That will fill up quickly. I won't want to have to keep migrating to newer bigger drives.. Would be easier to connect different external drives on-the-fly for my game collections.

@Mirimon78: For $400 dollars you won't get a good enough PC that will run all the demanding games at high to max graphical features and resolutions (instead you'll be stuck at low settings, no shadows, bloom, AA & AF, low res and low FPS). Just not worth it to own a PC that is just "slightly" more powerful than the current gen consoles.. I'd rather build a PC that hits in the $2000 range or more and have a beast of a machine. Also, buying all these parts in Canada is quite a bit more expensive for myself, then it is for people in the U.S. :-(

@PS2fweak: I see your point to all this and Microsoft touting the Windows 10 and Xbox platforms as being part of one eco-system might not work as much in their favor when it comes to selling the Xbox One.. Except for the crowd of people that are not fortunate enough to own uber powerhouse configured PC's and are not willing to shell out for new expensive upgrade parts every year or so, to keep PC's current with the ever evolving tech and games industry.

I grew up playing on consoles from the early days, rather than gaming on PC.. So I hold some sentimental values on wanting to own these unique console systems that do not need yearly upgrades and driver configurations to keep supporting all the newest games coming out. That's just me though. My PC is strictly for social media, YouTube (etc..), school and business.
