Keep in mind that its multiplayer, which in most games, graphics for multiplayer are ALMOST ALWAYS tuned down to increase performance on ANY console.

I thought they got the idea when Sony was selling consoles that reached 100 Millions units they saw that and wanted to get in on that. Not sure, I read somewhere a long time ago that MS created the Xbox after its experience working with the Dreamcast's OS, which was basically a stripped down Windows OS. I could be imagining things but eh.[QUOTE="FatedX360"]And I believe that the Xbox was an idea that was created when MS's interest grew in gaming consoles after helping Sega out with the Dreamcast. Correct me if I am wrong.Nintendo_Ownes7
I may not know a whole lot of console history, my first actual gaming platform I've ever owned was a Sega Game Gear :D History is always interesting in my opinion. And i never knew that about Pepsi and Coke, cool info :DSony's Playstation started as a revenge project after Nintendo back stabbed them for another company in the project you mentioned.
Makes you wonder what would have happened if Nintendo did not get greedy and stuck with Sony.
On a side note a similar thing happened with coke and pepsi. Pepsi actually offered to sell themselves to coke, but coke rejected the offer saying it lacked profitability for them. Pepsi was outraged by this so started a sales campaign in their home town to rub in cokes face, and the rest is history.

I never knew that the original Playstation was originally a CD-based add-on for the SNES. Interesting eh? I knew that Sony and Nintendo had worked together before but I never knew that bit of information.

On a side note, that website is pretty interesting. Just a little flashback on where home gaming consoles came from.
[QUOTE="Ninja-Hippo"]The Forza demo at E3 could be played sitting down. :)Dire_Weasel
You'd think that was true, except that they never let anyone play it in a room where they could sit down.
Also, during the demo, the Auto-accelerate and Auto-brake assists were kept on. The only thing Kinect was "watching" was the driver's hands.
I have a good feeling that the new Forza won't be Kinect only...it would be an option the player can make in the menus or something. I like my forza on a controller thank you.Key word is menus. You don't need reflexes to use menus. I understand your point and the other guy's point. but yeah.I'm not saying anything about needing reflexes. Just that, especially if you are already holding the controller (since he was talking about games that wouldn't use Kinect for the gameplay), pushing left/right/up/down on either the dpad or stick of a controller is easier, quicker, more convenient, and more intuitive than using kinect to navigate menus by waving your arm around. Yeah I understand, but it'd still be pretty cool if implemented right.[QUOTE="FatedX360"][QUOTE="ianuilliam"]If you're playing a game with the controller, why would kinect make navigating in game menus more convenient? I mean, what's more convenient, pushing buttons on a controller that's in your hand already, or putting your controller down and waving your hand around?
