[QUOTE="devious742"][QUOTE="WhatTheDunk"]Reinvented GUI, play from hard-drive, access marketplace online, entire old dashboard useable by the XBOX guide button, boot any game from XBOX guide (provided it's on your HDD), Party system, 8 person voice chat, and avatars taking over gamerpics. If you ask me, MS is doing more to extend the life of the 360 than Sony the PS3, and they promised a 10 year console.KinkInDaLink
- Reinvented GUI(pretty sweet BTW)
- play from hard drive(sony does this)
- access marketplace online(you can acces psn online and more features will be added later)
- entire old dashboard useable by the XBOX guide button(entire dashboard useable by the PS guide button)
- Party system(you mean..like in sony's HOME)
- 8 person voice chat(thats an awesome feature...but i think HOME will be able to do this)
- avatars taking over gamerpics(HOME)
sony does not do play from hard drive, you can partially install some ps3 games to improve load times due to blurays slow disc speeds, that is all. This function lets you completley rip any 360 game to your hard drive, so you can play the game without the disc drive spinning at all, plus faster load times, less pop in(mass effect :)) etc. Its completley different. It's finally something to use my 120gb for :).
The problem with home is you need to launch another program to get those features, which lets face it after the novelty of messing around in someones "home" has worn off, it is just more hassle. Give me those features streamlined and intergrated into the dashboard and games anyday, all the extra fluff of home isn't needed.
Blue-ray only loads slow if theres alot of customizability on the game.
