If you conisder "they" as entire muslim community well, your wrong. God knows why they did that it can be because of anything plitical achievement etc. . It's just that they gave it religious colour by calling it jihad. As far as killing of jews and christians: Do you honestly think that a religion would order this and would still get converts from round the globe? Once again Islam promotes peace. What "they" are doing is not Jihad!
Please, stop lying. Islam is violent, remember the Danish cartoons... they wanted other Muslims to kill them... wether it were a media propaganda tool or not, it does not erase the fact that Islam converts people through force. Christians living in Muslim countries are martyred every day, they have their churches attacked, and they are forced to convert or be killed... families too. What do the police do.... nothing, they can't do anything because of the Muslims. And no, it isn't one isolated incident, it happens way too much. Have you ever wondered why Islam, and Hinduism, 90% of the people live in third world countries... theres a reason for that.
Dude, stop with the misguided assumptions and attacks here. Islam is a religion of peace. As is Christianity, Judaism (for all I know), Buddhism, and Hinduism. As people come and go, changes are made to things. It's really that simple.
As a side note....for the "3rd world countries" thing, I wasn't aware that India didn't have at least 50% of the Hindu-affiliated population...and India was a 3rd world country...
India is pretty developed now... Except for some areas, but the same could be said about the US... Well, I guess Europe.
