I'm just wondering what the main difference between these two cards is, since they both have the same amount of video RAM and all, what's the advantage of the Ultra over the GTX?

I'm currently shopping around for a pre-built, high end gaming computer. I've been looking around the web for sites that build computers like that, but I'd like some more options and opinions from the forum peeps. The main website I'm currently looking at is www.ibuypower.com and my question is, where can I get a powerful computer for the least amount of money? I'm trying to make it between the 1500 - 3500$ range. Any input is appreciated, thanks!

The Q6600 is a quad core, isn't it? What benefits does that have over the duo?

I'm trying to choose a processor for the new gaming computer I'm getting. I'm trying to choose between an Intel or an AMD processor, but I'm not sure. The AMD I'm looking at is an AMD Anthlon 64 Core Duo X2, model number 6400+. The Intel is a Core Duo E6850. Between these two, which should I go with? Any input is appreciated.

I know, but that doesn't help me when it comes to choosing some games, unfortunately. I'm looking for specifically good games to play.

I don't have the best set-up for this day and age, so I'm looking for some fun games that can be played on my PC. It's running at about 2.3 GHz, 512 MB RAM.. Graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 128MB. I will play most kinds of games, I prefer First person shooters less than others, however. But any good suggestions at all will be appreciated. I just want games that will run well on my PC and play well at the same time. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Got a pretty outdated setup, at least by the standards of newer games coming out. Below are my current computer specs, and I'm looking to either upgrade or buy a new computer, whichever is cheaper. I'm currently looking for a system that will run Oblivion at the higher settings without a hitch, I'm using that as a base for the system I'm looking for.

 Operating System:

 AMD Sempron 2300+, 1.58GHz

75GB Harddrive

512MB RAM

Graphics Card: GeForce FX 5200, 128MB RAM

What should I look into getting so I can run the latest, next-gen games? Or, what could I do with my current setup to make some newer games run a little better? Any help is appreciated.

I have a slimline PS2, bought it about a year and a half ago. It works fine. Reads most DVD's, CD's, and games.. but it will not read newer games, like say, Rogue Galaxy. I recently rented it and it's in near-perfect condition, but won't read the disk. But some of my older games, like Soul Calibur 3, it reads them perfectly even though alot of them are scratched to hell. Is there any reason for this?
