@Setho10 It's not even their parents, their parents were the so called hard core gamers of the day. Society has changed, rapidly, over the past 10-15 years, in that people are losing all connection to everything, especially their children.

Very good and philosophical atricle and I must agree with what a waste of time video gaming has been in my life, but wait, what about all that time people spend on Facebook instead of going out and actually doing something with their friends in real life... like err playing video games?

In the old days we used to hunt to stay alive and provide for our families, these days we go to work to eat processed food, indulge in processed information and teach our children our processed point of view. I don't know, I just like to play Simcity4, been doing it for the last 9 years and like to ride motorcycles... a lot. Waste of time? Probably but I do not envy anyone else.
