I'm finally a Level 50 poster here in Gamespot! I've been here since spring 2004 when I was finishing up as a Junior in High School. This was the first site where I also saw info of the DS and Zelda TP. A lot have change since then, I was once a huge Nintendo fanboy, but now I own all three major consoles and expanded my tastes in gaming.

I met a lot of interesting people here and I'm glad I stayed here in GS even in the hard times. Although GS is no longer my choice for gaming news, but the people here are awesome and I feel we are a better community than other sites.

So what do you guys think?

It's been over 4 years since Depeche Mode released "Playing the Angel" while I may personally liked the album, it didn't fair too well to other fans due to the high compressed sounds and loudness that can cause your ears to go deaf. Fast foward to today, Depeche Mode releases Sounds of the Universe. They dropped with the dark mood they've been using since Violator and switched the "Mode" of their songs to more spiritual and minimal sounds.

Martin Gore, Depeche Modes guitarist and writer, ended up on a ebay frenzy shopping for old-school synthesizers thus the band returning to their roots of electronic beats but with a mix of today's sounds. David Gahan, Depeche Mode's front man, has become more involved with the song writing. He has wrote 3 songs for the album (Hole to Feed, Come back, Miles Away/Truth is) while Gore has writtin the rest.

In this albums developement, Depeche Mode actually composed at least 18 songs (a new Depeche Mode record), but not all of them could have fit into on CD pack so they had a hard decision sacrificing 5 other songs. Although the bright side is the extra 5 songs will be released as bonus songs, but the downside is they're only avaliable on there Deluxe Album set which is at least $100. Is it worth the $100, especially in today's economy? To me, I couldn't resist ;)

A lot of fans from the early 80's will indeed be happy with this album. The sounds are very retro, but with today's technology helped the sounds feel more modern to today's standard. The lyrics of the songs are fantastic, especially with Gahan's own song "come back" and one of my personal favorites "In Sympathy." The length of the album is 1hr and 3 minutes. The Quality of the album is a lot better than Playing the Angel, you can definitly hear the layers of the sounds and is friendly to the ears even when you crank up the volume to 11 ;)

Well, it's been a while since I posted a blog and a long time ago I promised you guys a Zelda Time-line. Well, I guess I'm not very good at keeping my word, because I sound like I say a lot of things. Well school has been holding me back and my Aunt isn't feeling very well and so I went to Vegas for my Spring break just to visit her not to mention tons of homework from my classes.

Anyway, lets get to the time-line which you guys have been waiting for ages

Zelda Time-Line

DSi

Anyway, on Sunday April 5, nintendo finally releases the DSi and guess who has one? ME! :D I'm sure some of you are feeling bitter that Nintendo should have at least released a DS2 instead, but for me, I am happy with it. I really like the two Cameras and the software it comes with it. I also like the Matte finish cover, it makes the DSi feel very **** although I'll admit that I didn't like the DSlite Glossy cover because fingerprints annoy me. I also like how the Screen looks, it's much bigger and its brighter than my DSphat.

Some of you are also bummed about that there is no GBA slots, I'll admit I'm also bummed out about it too, but then again I have too many GBA's that still work, not to mention that my DSphat is still functioning (but is badly wearing out). Having the SD card slot brings a lot of promise of a Gamboy Virtual Console. I know that there are a lot of GBA games that are great, but all of those good games are now very hard to find and I don't own many other than Minish Cap, Final Fantasy I and II, both Fire Emblem games, Pokemon, and both Metroid games. Besides, Nintendo of America has never released Fire Emblem 6, the sequel to the 7th game we've played and Roy was in Melee, Come on Nintendo at least translate the title for the GB VC if you planned to have a GB VC :x

So far everything is great, but the DSiware games are very lackluster. Nintendo gave every new DSi owner free 1,000 Nintendo Points to buy DSiware titles, how generous, but what they're offering isn't worth for those points so I'll be saving those points for better DSiware titles in the future

Overall, if you haven't bought the DSlite and you want the GBA slot, I don't recommend the DSi to you. However, if you need a massive upgrade and don't care about your backcatalog of GBA games since you own many GBA's then I would recommend the DSi.

I just heard Video_Game_King will no longer be in Gamespot anymore :(

This makes me very said, he was really a great poster and I enjoyed his blogs very much. Now I also heard he will be spending his time at Giantbomb for now on.

This is Depeche Mode's new Single in which is due April 6th as well as there new album set to be release at April 20th at EU and April 21 at NA.

PS- I was planning to make a Zelda timeline, but due to school, work, and exercising I have no time :( But later on I will eventually make it :)

In response to Chocolate1325 blog about the Zelda timeline and where Twilight Princess would fit, I would like to add my own theory.

Minish Cap

This game is where it started it all due to the beginning of Hyrule and the origin of the green hat Link always where in all the Zelda games. Plus we only see one piece of the triforce.

Ocarina of Time

This game is where we learn how the Goddess created Hyrule and left the sacred Triforce behind. We also see the first apperance of Ganondorf as a human and his transformation of Ganon. This is also the first apperance of the Master Sword, in which it is the blade that destroys evil's bane and also the key to the Sacred Realm which the Triforce is kept. This is also the game where the three pieces of the triforce separetes causing the destiny for Link, Ganondorf/Ganon, and Zelda to have an endless war for the Triforce.

TIMELINE A (Child Link)

After defeating Ganondorf, the Seven Sages from the sacred realm (Saria, Darunia, Ruto, Impa, Nabooru, and Rauru) trapping him in another dimension.

Zelda plays her Lulliby to Link in order for him to return to his original time and back where they first met.

Here's what I think, Link tells the King of Hyrule his story on what he just experience when he was in the Sacred Realm and what Ganondorf is prepare to do at Hyrule's Castle. And Thus Ganondorf was sentence to death.

Majora's Mask

This is where we learned about a mysterious tribe that has created the Majora's Mask that can launch destructive power and destroy worlds. After the events of OoT, Link went out of Hyrule in search of someone only to be stumble upon the Skull Kid lead Link chasing after him to Termina. It must have been a test for the three Goddesses to prove if Link really can change the fate of the world as how he change the fate of Hyrule from Ganondorf.

Twilight Princess

We learn more about the mysterious tribe and I'm speculating that they're the creators of the Majora's Mask? I could be wrong. Ganondorf was on a set to be executed but some how he survived due to having the triforce of Power within his hand. I'm not sure how he managed to acquire it, but one of the seven original sages state that it was a "Divine Prank." I am guessing that the three Goddesses wanted the events from OoT to occur and started the destiny fight between Ganondorf/Ganon vs Link and Zelda.

I hope everyone has big plans for 2009 because I sure am. I'm giving up on junk food, since I have lost over 40lbs last year, I weigh less than my oldest brother who weighted 175lbs. Well with that gone now I have to lose the body fat stored inside my belly. My goal is to get an 8-pack. No not an 8-pack of beer but great new abs.

Well, as you know I am still single since my friend feels comfortable as friends. I'm already accepting it. It sucks but I know I can find someone better, but that doesn't mean we would never be together. Maybe not now but later on in my life. Until then I'll just find someone that is better. Who knows I may stick with someone new for a long time and forget about my friend.

Well I finally got a new sig and it was designed by the master of Adobe Photoshop, AdobeArtist. I gave him a hard task, in which it was designing a Fire Emblem sig. Just take a look at it.

Last, I have been working out for a while now. As of today I have lost 35lbs and dropped two pants sizes. Damn I have games to buy and now I have to waste it for new clothes. I used to weight 212lbs and now I weight 176.2lbs and according to my BMI, I'm a point short to be on the healthy weight scale.

All I can say is, Watch Out Ladies, FE_Man is looking for ya ;)

Well, that's what she wanted. There is nothing I can do about it. It's a pain that I'm use to.

It sucks, when it comes to this it breaks my spirit. When it comes to girls you always wonder why they never want to change there preference to guys. They always ending up hurting themselves in the long run. I'm getting to believe that nice guys always finish last for everythings. Of all the time she wanted to see me, but for what? I thought she was starting to like me more, but it was only to be a friend........ It just puts me to tears...... I am doing my best to move on now, and I always try to find someone new, but it just hurts me even more just to forget. Again its a pain that I'm used to. It's always the same answer to whoever I like. It never changes.......... It's a pain that I'm used........
