I am always looking out for decent titles to expand my PS2 collection. Recently I bought a Gamecube with a couple of Mario titles for only £10, so I've been focusing on that too. As well as that, anything retro! I work in a games shop, so I often see good games come in and am able to pick them up straight away.

I managed to get Twilight Princess for GC but would really like the other Zelda games, as well as a GC memory card!

I have a suggestion. It's no RPG, or shooter. However, it is awesome, addictive and is good to play on the side of a more demanding adventure. http://www.nextsavepoint.net/2012/01/triple-town-trap.html - I wrote a full review here, see if it is for you.

I think that you are either in the PES camp or the FIFA camp. I have played the FIFA franchise since 1999, and I will never pick up a PES game in replacement. But, everyone is different. I would recommend buying one of each format from the older titles, as they will only cost you £1 each, then from that pick xour favourite franchise and then buy the newest version of that one.

Skyrim, most definitely.

I've never enjoyed first person shooters, I don't see why MW2 would be an exception.

I would say horizontal. I work in games retail and I speak to a couple of customers each day about radial burns on their discs. I ask them if they have the console vertically and 9 times out of 10 they do. When it is vertical it is much more prone to being knocked over, or, even just slight movement around the console, this will make the disc drop and essentially ruin your disc.

I tend to shy away from games that are so huge I know I will have to put in hours and hours into. Mainly because I simply don't have enough time to play them and get the best from them. However, my brother picked up a copy today and I sat and watched him play it for a bit and it looks pretty awesome. I can see why so many people were excited about it and why it's so immersive.

I'll possibly pick up a copy myself in a few weeks.

Definitely Pokémon Red, I have fond childhood memories of that one.

I'd suggest Harvest Moon on the GBA.

I have a girlfriend, she's not a gamer herself but humours me and plays with me every now and then.

I think that's just an old belief that gamers don't have partners and lack any social skills. I don't think people tend to believe that now that gaming is so mainstream.

Definitely the original Red/Blue/Yellow series. Brings back such fond childhood memories!
