I recently discovered my Wii has the dreaded dual layer disc read error. I tried Brawl, the Trilogy, and Xenoblade, and none of them work consistently. My Wii can't read the discs. Anyway, I've heard the problem can generally be fixed by a lense cleaner. My question is whether I should use a generic cleaner for $5, or order the official one for $15, plus have to wait 4-8 days. The Nintendo rep I got when I called, not the best help I've gotten from them, told me I should use the official one because, even though it costs more, it's official. Any advice? Like I said, I just got Xenoblade, so time is of the essence!

I'm planning on getting a new SD card for my 3DS, hopefully a 16 GB SDHC. The ones I have in mind are class 10s, and SD 3.0 compatible. They're pretty cheap on Newegg, starting at $15. Anyway, I was wondering if there was anything I should look out for, like certain types being incompatible or slow with the 3DS, or certain brands that I should avoid all together.
Also, when I bought an 8 GB SDHC for my Wii a while back, I payed no attention to the class and ended up with a class 4 (hey, it was practically free). It's pretty slow, much slower than the "official" 2 GB SD card I had before, when writing and/or reading game data. Is this because of the low class, increase in size, or the switch from SD to SDHC? I'm hoping the one I get for my 3DS will be significantly faster as a class 10, but I'm not entirely sure how relevant that will be.
If they make 2 models like i heard they would, I'd say 1 of them will be $400+ and the other will be $300-400. Plus any 3G plan either one might require/suggest.
For all those people who attacked me for defending the size limit on the Wii, if they're even still following this thread, it is not just fanboyism that leads me to do so. The Wii has very little storage, so without the size limitation, it would be full far too quickly. As for a defense of the small storage space, it kept the price low at launch and there has been no reason for Nintendo to upgrade, unlike its competitors. Even if they had chosen to upgrade, it would have been a blow to all the loyal Nintendo fans to suddenly have obsolete systems so that developers can make oversized downloadable games. As far as using the SD card storage on the Wii, there is one thing you should know: the Wii can only load a game off the SD card if there is an equal amount of storage available on the Wii itself (that is unless there has been a change in the last couple of weeks). You would have to keep your Wii's storage pretty barren to load games upwards of 300 mb.
As for the size limit keeping the best, or even many good, titles from coming to the WiiWare service, maybe you should actually look at what's available. WiiWare has more unique and well-made titles available than either of the other two consoles. (Note, though, that when I say that I am excluding the Computer, because 1. It's not specifically for gaming like the consoles, and 2. the games it has available would outnumber all three consoles combined.)
If Super Meat Boy is really 300 mb after converting the HD to SD, and compressing the game well, than it could either be released in episodes or not at all, since it was clearly never intended, despite the promise of the developers, for the WiiWare service. They knew the size limit and chose to ignore it until later. The size limit would have kept them from making a great game, as some have said, no more than it did for Gaijin, 2D Boy, and Telltale, who have all made great games and been very successful on WiiWare.
I'm glad Nintendo has the size limit they have for Wiiware games. I personally don't want to be downloading 500+ block games, taking up all of my storage. Besides, it's not like Wii owners haven't been able to get any good games because of the limit. There are plenty of games that are awesome already available.
I heard this game was great, and I actually wanted it myself, but after the way they've treated Wii owners, I doubt I would get it even if it made a landing there. I think the Wii is best for simple games like this, not due to bias, but because it has such a simple controller (I prefer the NES style grip). That said, I think they should have made the game for Wiiware, and then jazzed (yes, jazzed) it up for the other consoles that allow larger downloads. As I recall, they did kind of promise the game to Wii players and then say, "oops, we forgot to make it compatible."
I just bought a used GBM and the faceplate is scratched up. I figured it would be easy to replace, but no one online seems to sell anything but stickers. Even the Nintendo website no longer sells them. Does anyone know where I could get one?
I don't actually have a 360, but my brother does, and I was wondering what innovative/creative games the 360 had, aside from shooters and Viva Pinata.
The messages we have received in the Bible are too intelligent and span too far a tmeline for any imposter to make.
The argument was not whether God was evil or not.
God showed Himself just recently on earth in a physical form. It was only a couple thousand years ago. To someone eternal, time is nothing. Time is only there to help us figure things out. There are plenty of people that I have never seen, and yet they still exist. No one has seen everyone.
If it helps imagine God as a King in a far-off kingdom. Those in His kingdom see Him regularly, but those outside see Him rarely.
Genetic- most of that previous post was to sexy, but the last part applies to everyone.
The human mind cannot comprehend infinity nor eternity, which are both characteristic of God. We know of Him because He showed Himself to us and talked to us. If you don't know that much than you're arguments are easily explained: You haven't been reading the other posts at all. It says in the Bible that He is greater than infinity, longer than eternity. If we can't even grasp the basics, how can we understand Him completely. What we know He has told us.
Even here on earth we can't comprehend many things. We can't cure cancer or diabetes. We can't figure why bodies start aging. We don't know how life got here, except by God.
How dare you say I contradict all religion by what I said. From what I've heard, you know very little about religion. How can you say something you know next to nothing about? There are many examples in the Bible alone that are incomprehensible to science.
By the way, I can say with cofidence that you, too, are in a religion.
