The metaphor goes as follows: A bookstore exploded, there would be a chance of a dictionary being put together in the aftermath, but the chances are very small. these chances are better than those of evolution.

Another example is this: Due to to the complexity of DNA, there is just as good a chance of a fully loaded convertible appearing in a cave on its own over millions of years as there are of all the parts for DNA being together in the same spot and the right position at once to start life.

I_am_sexy- If you're alive, typing this circular argument, then you have life. Life is super-complex, beyond our own imaginings. How did this life begin? Did evolution occur? Many believe that to be the case. However, that does not explain where life came from, only where modern life forms came from. Only one idea works, and that is an eternal creator. Stop arguing about where God is or isn't. The human mind cannot comprehend Him.

Genetic-How can the chances of a God be 1/infinity? God is not something that can be rationalized. Either there is or isn't a God, and that's 50/50. Evolution on the other hand, not only has no explanation to origins, but can be rationalized. Last I heard, given a simple, single-celled ancestor, evolution was still a 1/100's of billions chance of ever happening. People who specialize in chance have said there is a better chance of a long dictionary being formed in an explosion of a bookstore than there is for evolution to have occurred.

Okay, a quote from wikipedia is not going to have any effect on the definitions I l earned in school, especially when it says that laws are just well-established theories. A law is something that has been proven to be beyond shadow of a doubt to be true. No matter how many times you test a law, you will get the same result. A theory, however, is something that has, like you said, evidence, but cannot/ has not been proven. No matter what you call the results, proof is proof. The proof for the law of conservation of matter has more than just evidence in nature. It has been proven over and over again. Those results constitute proof, which constitutes a law. Just because a theory is famous, that doesn't mean it's a law.

By the way, I still don't understand the whole face-palm thing...nor do I get how it relates to my post.

Why C?

If science doesn't use proof, than what is it? Science is a way of understanding our world. The fact is that science does use proof. Otherwise nothing would be proven. That's why a theory stays a theory until PROOF is found, hence the THEORY of evolution. Evolution stays a theory because it cannot/has not been proven, with proof.

On xbox live what is the silver online thing mean? I've heard that you can play games with people online but I've also heard that you can't, which is it? Also, can you renew an original xbox with a gold card from gamestop? I have an account with a 2 month trial and the trial ended yesterday but I can still play, and I heard that they'll kill your account if you do that, I didn't use a credit card with any money, I used an empty pre paid card... XD But it renewed it anyway, but they'll find out once it denies it.

I'm okay with a fair amount of blood, I would say at most would be a little more than what re4 had... That actually sounds kinda stupid when I think about it, considering how much was in there...XD But I would say that rainbow six vegas has more.
