I have not yet seen a negative review for THE ORANGE BOX, and I believe it is becuase Valve gave us a game that had everything, they gave us our money's worth, something other devs are just not doing.

So my question to you is where do we go from here? Do we increase prices? Do we ditch these fancy graphics? Do we cut out innovative-but-risky features? Do we take everything multiplat? Until the potential consumer base catches up with development costs we're going to be dealing more and more "why didn't they include X" situations. What would you give up?

Increase prices? If anything we should decrease them. Developers are giving us less and less, and charging us more for hardware and software. We can't just shrug and say "At least they tried", becuase if we pay $50-$60 we want a game with good graphics, a good amount of gameplay, and multiplayer.

Developers are getting away with charging more and giving less.

orange box is what...like 4 games? it's not one game

oh and the fact that everyone that posts in here has a pc....so....

I get that everyone has there favorite system, but one game everyone should definatly experience, no matter what system you own, is THE ORANGE BOX. The games in this collection are just amazing, everything about them is very fun, addicting, and just well-done. And apparently the PS3 version (according to IGN) is free from the framrate issues, and will be on par with the 360 verison. Which is why I'm recomending this game to everyone that hasn't played it yet.

I know this is System Wars, but with all the arguing, there isn't much talk about quality games we can all love and play.

KILLZONE 2 arrives...

The amount of time, money, and effort being put into this game is going to pay dividends for SONY. At the very least, it is going to be a visual and aural showcase for the PS3.

I am pretty sick and tired of shooters in general since every other game nowadays is a mediocre shooter, but this game and BioShock look like exceptions to me.

You're going to miss out on great games such as The Orange Box, as well as Call Of Duty 4, but that is completley up to you.

Downside is there isn't any extra content like on XBL which, unfortunately is a great way to extend my time with the game.

There is extra content on PSN. I double checked in case, there are a couple of extra songs now, and I'm sure more will be added later on. So IMO, PS3 is the way to go.
