I don't mind using my first name. I would prefer other gamers used it sometimes in online games, rather than having some random name I decided to use always linking me to who squad mates or online friends think of when talking to me.

In my case, it would probably be better most of the time since my gamer tag, which is 'ShadyJay', makes people online think it has something to do with Eminem of course...

Actually, it is because my first name is Jason and I play kinda "shady" online. :P But, if it bothered me THAT much, I could always change it. I've just never felt like $8-$10 worth of bothered yet...

It's happened 3-4 times tonight. My connection icon in-game is green and I don't have any lag while playing. I also haven't had ANYONE in game say that I am lagging or anything either. The error message is, "Disconnected for cheating due to possible connection disruption."

And the reason I ask about being on wireless is because that has to be the only thing that could cause my connection to really fluctuate at all. I'm not even that far away from the router either. I'm in the next room. I swear... I really like this game too, I hope they can tell the difference between someone messing with things on purpose and just normal connection fluctuations, especially on wireless. Please post if this has happened to you as well.

I can tell you that this is more worth the money than Gotham City Imposters. It has a ton of content, singleplayer, multiplayer, and a editor that is pretty awesome.

Damn... When I had read you have to hold a trigger to walk I was kind of hoping it was the left trigger... I'm sure it's not a big enough deal to keep me from getting this though. Is it possible to switch the triggers or something in the control options? If not, then I guess I'll buy some of those replecement trigger caps they sell so I can get curved out triggers instead of rounded, Helps with the right hand if I can't switch the controls.

Going to play the demo as soon as my internet conn quits going in and out on me... Wonder if it's thecrappy weather... I dunno.just wish it would stop lol, I have wanted to play this SO much.

*Raises hand

Yeah , I'm with everyone else on this one. I JUST subscribed right before reading the post about there being no chat this year as well. Pretty sad...

But, I have been wondering, Isn't there some kind of 3rd party program we could all use to join up for some chat during the show? I KNOW, it's nothing like having it here (especially when paying for "benefits" of the site.) And I KNOW it's something that we shouldn't really have to do either but, wouldn't just hopping into a IIRC channel be FAIRLY easy?

I'll admit right now that I have NO idea about how to really set it up or anything. But if I am givin a address or channel ID I can at least find it and get in. This would really be last minute and all but the people that REALLY care the most about this have found this board and are reading these posts. All I'm sayin is, If eoungh people wanna give it a shot, post it in this topic and maybe the majority of us can makethis happen on our own?:)

Currently, about 800 meg of your ram is unavaliable becuase Windows can't address it. You could try turning on PAE (if it isn't already, I think I've read that it's turned on automatically by SP1 if it's avaliable), otherwise you'll need Vista 64bit.G013M

Yeah I know I'm not getting my full mem capacity with 32-bit Vista But with my system showing I have 2.2Gb dedicated to Video ram I'm wondering if what I DO have that is recognized in Vista is being hogged up by whatever is going on with that video ram accumulation...

EDIT: Ok I just read an article that explained it I think. It looks like that 800Mb ofram that is not being used, due to the OS limitation is being used by the GPU.

Oh, and turning on PAE still won't allow me to actually 'use" the full amount of ram right? Just detect it is all, from what I read. Well..... It's not really a BAD thing to have that much ram being used by the GPU is it? Or does the GPU even actually get full use of it as well?

I have never trusted that site for anything... It really does not give accurate results. Run dxdiag to see more accurate info. Also, get 64 bit vista with that much ram and nice video cardMunkyman587

Yeah I'll check Dxdiag, (although I THINK it says the same...) And I'm gonna install 64-bit Vista as soon as my new mobo gets here. And, If I'm not mistaken the Nvidia GTX 260 IS a VERY nice card lol. especially with the sale I got on it with the 896Mb of ram on it instead of the 512 one.

I'm just wondering if any of my actual ram is being wasted. Also, in my Bios I think the shared video mem setting is either at 128mb or 256mb so....
