What this hacker has done has the potential to ruin everything for the PS3 community and I hope Sony makes his life very difficult.

No , it's the main reason why I never bought an XBOX360. Imagine if Sony started charging for online and millions jumped on to pay for it, then what? Publishers would start thinking about charging PC gamers to play their games online, Activision are already thinking about it. The price hike alone on XBOX live has been put down to Activision having a school girl tantrum. Sony got money out of me when I bought my PS3 and they get money out of me when I buy games retail and on PS store, if they want more for me to play online then I will have to forget about going online.

I always favour Western Digital or Seagate.

But wouldn't 7200rpm get too hot?

ps3_owns_360Wii

Mine's been running a 7200rpm now for 2 years without a problem

What drive do you have?

To be truthful I can't remember now.

Whilst COD still sells in the millions, Activision will still cut and paste the online and continue to shorten the single player. I really don't understand how anyone can support COD every year like this, the online continues to be extremely laggy and buggy, every iteration has been rife with glitches, hacks and exploits and all this while Activision is raking in over $1 billion a year. You would think with that kind of money to hand they could at least introduce dedicated servers.

The MW2 online community is no place for a 12 year old, it's full of obnoxious hate mongers, racists and squealing kids trying their best to trash talk. It was largely unplayable from day one and now it's full of hacks it's almost pointless to play online.
