[QUOTE="frostybanana"][QUOTE="Flatbattery"]I don't understand the hate for the standard cars, they're not that bad, I haven't seen a really bad one yet and I've put in at least 25 hours now. As for this whole 5 to 6 year development time, I wish all the haters would understand that PD have produced 5 titles in the last 5 years, GT4 online (test) in 2005, GT HD in 2006, GT5 prologue in 2008, GT PSP in 2009 and GT5 in 2010 with I might add low numbers in staff compared to most developers. I for one can forgive PD for any flaws as GT5 is still excellent, and hopefully will improve, Kaz is listening to the community and already talking improvements.

Don't kid yourself, those games were made to appease fans who were getting anxious about GT5s release date. Their energy was largely spent on GT5. There isn't anything particularly wrong with the standard cars except that they don't look anywhere near as nice as they should. Like I said, spending that amount of time for a game means everything should be perfect. Those cars have aesthetic flaws, like jagged edges, weird textures and poor detailing for crashes. If there were no premium cars in the game, then there would be a LOT more hate being hurled at this game. Premium cars appearing at a 1 to 4 ratio is kind of ridiculous. Why bother having other cars in the game if they're not at the highest quality of detailing? And at such a high volume as well. The premium cars are beautiful, though they also don't accurate portray car damage. But at such an infrequent rate, it just doesn't make a lot of sense. 60 million went into this game, so it's odd that everything isn't as good as it can be.

Well, forgive me for sticking up for PD. All I wanted to express was the fact that they have been working hard and not lazing about. I also wanted to add that all those 200 premiums that everyone is loving would have taken approx 3 years to develope alone, so personally I think they did well.

[QUOTE="Fightingfan"]I don't even know how GT5 can call it's self a "simulator". It says I can handle a Nissan GT-R (What appears to be a GT-R) going about 80MPH and still being able to handle the whole "line" system. I know I can't drive that good in real life..

Turn off all the driving aids then. Besides a GT-R is easy to drive in real life

I enjoy MoH much more than CoD because a mp match in MoH feels more like a battle rather than a game of army in the school playground. Yes you are going to get campers, but that's what happens when you are attacking an objective, it's an effective defensive tactic but still beatable, and as for snipers, they've now been nerfed so you don't get so many. I find MoH a lot more satisfying and if, as many people have said around these forums, that BFBC2 is better then I may have to invest in that. I've owned MW,WAW and MW2 and sadly BO does not appeal to me as I'm sure it will be the exact same gameplay, crappy p2p matchmaking and child infested community just with new maps. Obviously that's only my opinion.

Can you imagine system wars if this happened? It would go into meltdown and be unusable for months. Sony gets enough grief for being accused of copying other companies (which it doesn't, much).
