Yea, God of War 2 and Kingdom Hearts 2 are what I am playing right now on my PS3.  You'd think inserting two discs at once would break the PS3.  But it doesn't.  (DO NOT TRY THIS :P)

I bet they're kicking themselves for investing in the HD DVD add-on for the 360.

Yea, this is great news, both for the PS3 and for the industry.  We need to have just the one format.  HD DVD was doomed from the start, they challenged too many better companies.  Wasn't smart.  I guess the competition made Blue Ray try a bit harder, which is good.

It all depends on how you shut it down.  If at the home menu, you hold a finger on the power area (for lack of a better term for it) it'll beep like that and shut down.  I try to use the SIXAXIS PS Button to tell it to shut itself down.  Cuts down on fingerprints.

The beeps are very normal, and those sounds you here are just the PS3 doing its thing.

Metal Gear is a game you're meant to replay once you have forgotten the specifics of the text.  Sure, you know the story, but you don't want to play it over again and watch all that cut content right after seeing it.  Its like Final Fantasy, same deal.  You fight and fight, and then you get your reward for your combat prowess.  If anything I would want more of both, more cut scenes, more drama and emotional content, and then more gameplay.

Also, i hope there are plenty of Codec conversations that you can trigger by calling at the right time, like in the first game.

6.6 is about right, I played it for an hour or so and had to turn it off.  Its not fun.  Its frustrating.  I don't feel powerful, like I did playing Ultimate Spider-man.  Ultimate Spider-man, which they had more time to perfect, was the better game.

Thats like saying we didn't want Dirge of Cerberus or Advent Children.  I'll take anything I can get from that world, I simply adore 7.  My only hope is that the game goes to the PS3 instead of the PSP in some attempt to save the device.  I would like to see both, a classic version downloadable to the PS3 and PSP via the PSN, and a redone version arriving all at the same time.

You'll get one of your own, and you'll fill it with game downloads, videos, and demos of games you've yet to buy.  You'll be just as happy as the rest of us are.
