The 90's, ah, good memories. Baldur's gate, Fallout, Planescape: Tourment. Let's not forget the SNES either.
We'll propably never see a decade in gaming as the 90's. Hey, IMO, gaming started ever so slightly go down (and later went on to become a proverbial avalanche) around 2000,ever think that millenium bug thing wasn't a hoax?

KOTOR, jade empire or Fable should be your choices. I love Morrowind, but as one of the above posters said, it's intimidating.

Either loading times (think SDVR)
Or maybe getting to the end of a level, dying, and having to restart at the beginning again.

[QUOTE="FoodThing00"]I really don't care for them. I mean, what's the point in playing a game if you already know everything there is to know about it? Sigh. I quess it's only part of the new generation of gamers that hate challenges. >.>donwoogie

Suppose you find a puzzle you are unable to solve. By not solving this puzzle you are missing out on a good chunk of a game which you probably could do. By not finding a way to pass this puzzle, you are wasting your money by only making use of a fraction of the game.

In that unlikely event, i would use gamefaqs. You see, with this wonderful invention called the internet, i can find info on things without..say... Paying for a overpriced ''guide'' that generally won't do much good. Besides, kinda stupid to buy a guide if you're only stuck on one thing. Try, and try again and you never have to waste any money on a guide.

First off, mr smartarse, not every game is on GameFAQs, there are some rather exotic ones which are not listed. Secondly, I never said BUY it, I said I'd use one, ie. walk into a store, find the puzzle I am stuck on, read it, then leave :P

Smartarse? yay, i've never been called smart before *Dances some obscure irish jig*Oh, and these exotic games? Google is your friend.

IMO there's more to games than just how challenging it is.

You misunderstand me, i'm just saying that a game should both have a great storyline and be challenging. There's never a reson for a game not to be challenging.
(ok, i didn't ''say that'' in any way in the post. But i think so dammit! uhh..sorry for not being clearer before)
