I'm gessing if your still playing it then its been a very good investment. I have not played blackops for at least 2 months now, but overall I think I put in a good 300 hours in to it. Cant say the same for most games out there.
Nope. Bots aren't necessary for online shooters. Back in the days of timesplitters/perfect dark etc., bots were crucial to the experience, but now, why play bots when you can constantly be matched up with real people?
However, bots in GeOW2 were a great addition for matchmaking to even teams up when somebody quit (even though they are a pain in the ass).

I think bots are good in some cases. Take for instance Halo Reach...a game starts and 4 of your teammates who are in a party decide to drop out.so now you're stuck facing the other team all by yourself.it would be nice if some bots take their place so u won't get slaughtered too bad.lol. Anyways,I'm glad games like gears have bots.
