[QUOTE="Foulcry"] best especially when you can't decide on your own if he is or not.MethodManFTW
I clearly have. I played the game ALOT, watch tournament play ALOT, etc... Here's Tom Bradys post patch tier list.. so apparently Laos nerf isn't to bad. S tier: raiden, shang, kano, nw, cage, ermac, kl, cyber sub, sub A+ tier: cyrax, sindel, scorpion, liu kang, kitana, mileena, reptile, noob, sonya, kabal A tier: jade, smoke, sektor, stryker, jax, baraka B tier: sheeva, quan chi

He's getting another one lol. I also don't need the Tier List I know who is good and who isn't. I even said Kung Lao is top tier but he isn't the best in the game and he can be beaten. He is also a very unsafe character. watching tournaments doesn't convince me that you know a lot try going to them instead of being a stream monster. All I'm clearly saying is that Kung Lao isn't the best and you just can't seem to let that go. In time watch. When people know he can be punished more so then not. He won't be as good as you think he is. Or let me guess you'll change your opinion when everyone else in high level play does lol.

JWong owned with him. Kung Lao was all over the 10k PDP tournament in Vegas... Wong has said on his twitter multiple times that Lao is OP.. I think I'll take his word over yours. ;)MethodManFTW
Just because jwong plays with him doesn't mean he is the best. Maybe you should take a breather from being a fanboy and realise that there are way better characters. He won like two tournaments with him and its because the game is still early and a lot people don't realise you can punish Kung Lao from a lot of his moves. You don't have to take my word over his I'm not asking you to nor am I telling you to.

Your basing your observation on a pro player that just started playing MK9 and still doesn't know much about the game so if you don't know what your talking about and you are only basing your answer on observing Jwong then you probably shouldn't be telling people who the best character is. Just saying. Once again just because Jwong uses him doesn't mean he's the best. So decide for yourself instead of letting a tournament player choose for you.

you don't become very good at a game by not know much about it........

Made no sense.

I have decided for myself that I agree with him from watching a whole hell of a lot of MK tournament play. And I'm a fan boy because I believe what one of the best MK players in the world says ok... Long Island Joe uses Lao a ton too. I have done my own research, and listening to pro players is part of that research. Thanks for your concern tho.

Yea sure you have meanwhile your pretty much naming every well known tournament player around and telling me you follow them on twitter. Listen to yourself dude. I hope you know that Kung Lao is getting nerfed by the way. Also high level players use more characters then Kung Lao. Jwong happens to be the only one I have seen that doesn't use more then one character. I'm not concerned for you at all but your statemnet on Kung Lao is very subjective and I don't think you should be so sure that he is the best especially when you can't decide on your own if he is or not.

No he isn't. To you maybe Kung Lao might be the best but in truth he really isn't. He is a good character and he is a top tier but there are way better characters then Kung Lao.

Anything anyone says on the matter is a all purely subjective. honestly i hate how everything is compared to one another. They are both completely different games. I barely play MvC3. It is a decent game. No content what so ever. It is anextremely bare bones game. Mostly bought it for online and offline play. I refuse to play it without an arcade stick which hopefully I'll get soon and then maybe I start getting more into it. Mortal Kombat is awesome and it sets the standard for what all fighting games should be. It has a lot of content and ithas the best story mode ever to have been in a fighting game. A lot of fanboy's (on this site) of MvC3 and SSFIV say it's not as robust as the two games I just mentioned when in fact it is.

MvC3 is all about X-factor and the last character thats it. That's not robust. SSFIV is a good game. MK does have a deep fighting engine though for people who are willing to actually give it a shot. I'm calling out the people on this site who bad mouth it and refuse to play it because it might be better then their preciousSSFIV or MvC3. Chill out fanboy's it just here to tag along and make a bigger and better fighting community and it's not going anywhere anytime soon either because people really like it so get over it. :) Learn to accept and respect it.

Its a glitch that has happened to me. It only happens if you hit X by the character instead of square to sit back down and then hit X to convict the character. It was weird. The other thing I don't know about though. That never happened to me. Other then that one thing the game has run pretty smooth for me and I haven't seen any glitches since. I see occasional screen tearing but thats about it.

it wasn't horrible but it's a $20 game to me. too reptitive, too limiting, and not challenging enough. i could tell most of the time who was lying or telling the truth. no challenge to finding clues. story was boring and most were uninteresting flashbacks. it was one of my most wanted games since last year and i ended up disappointed.

Just letting you know, not that it matters if you don't like the game you don't like the game that's fine thats your opinion but If you wanted to make it more challenging for the clue finding, you could have turned the music cueing off and i'm pretty sure you could turn off the rumble effect too. The thing people had a problem with the most it seems wasnotbeing able to tell the difference between the doubt and lie option. It wasn't always clear but what people don't realize is you can back out of a lie if you don't choose a piece of evidence. Sometimes if I wasn't clear on how Cole asked the question I would choose lie to see what he would say next to help me comprehend what I was looking for better.

This would help me a lot with telling the difference between a doubted answer or someone lying. I only had to do this a couple of times though. Also a lot of people don't realise this either but sometimes they cant get a question right at all no matter what because they didn't go to certain places in a correct sequence. Just ask your partner what to do next after finishing up somewhere and he usually points you in the right direction on which place to visit first. They say it doesn't matter where you go first but that depends on what kind of person you are.

If you are like me who needs to get every question right and needs to find all the evidence to accuse a suspect then you should do everything in a specific order. If you don't care about getting questions wrong as long as you complete the case some way or another then it really doesn't matter what order you visit places.
