[QUOTE="Aljosa23"]Who knows. Maybe in 2013. :(

it's such a joke that we can't see the world's two best boxers fight. name basically any other sport and you'll see the two best battling it out - nba, nfl, soccer, etc.

Andre Ward is the best boxer in the world then Mayweather.

I kind of think Pacman is better.

Saying boxing is fake is silly unless you can prove it.

Pirate700
Watch a Pacquiao boxing match, and you'll watch boxing. That guy is insanely fast.

They both have their benefits and their downfalls. (I'm talking about a real monarchy, compared to a real democratic elected president.) Having power consolidated into one person that does not need to concern themselves with the whims and woes of every single person is beneficial in that there is never deadlock. He does what he thinks is right, without opposition. It's done fast and its done correctly. Unless the monarch is crazy, or mean, or evil. That's when the democratic elected President is the better option because of so many checks and balances, it's hard for him to get anything actually accomplished, but if he tries to do something bad, the checks that are put into place will prevent him from doing so. (Even though that isn't always true either.

You aren't a real republican then:P but thanks

That's not conservative. "Conservative" (and liberal) are not political parties. Republicans (and democrats) don't have political beliefs. One side gets elected by rich people, the other by poor. They're amoral. They don't have any ideas or beliefs or standards... or rather, they'll do and say anything to get themselves more power and money.

That's a pretty pessimistic stance. I like to think otherwise. That liberals believe the government should not be involved in social issues, but should offer support with economic ones. And that Conservatives believe government should protect the sanctity of certain things by imposing certain government restrictions on certain social issues, but that the government is incompetent to handle money and should have as little economic control/power as possible.

when liberals begin to support leftist idelogies more than their center-right party, that's a transition, no doubt.

You're completely missing the point, on purpose, no doubt.

[QUOTE="LordQuorthon"]If that's what you really want, it would be really helpful if you stopped acting like a stereotype.kingkong0124

I differ with my party in many ways. I'm not a stereotype.

and yet you perpetuate and encourage it.

Guybrush_3

no. that's the articles name, that's what i posted. all i said was "is this the sign of the democratic's transition to left?"

By posting it on Gamespot you are perpetuating this article. And by citing it as the basis for your question, you are encouraging it by assuming it has validity.

[QUOTE="Franklinstein"]By that logic, neither does the Republican controlled Congress.Blue-Sky

The sad thing is. Republicans haven't made a single proposal throughout this entire fiscal cliff talk.

Not.

a.

single.

proposal.

So some legislation needs to be passed and the Legislative body hasn't even proposed anything. Yet, somehow it's the executive branch's fault?
