Says something about the quality of the game when you want to play it as little as possible. Black Ops was mediocre at best.

Why is this even a question? Length does not determine game value AT ALL. Longer repeating hallways does not increase how much "value for your cash" a game has.
I'm good at Halo like i'm good at all other FPS games but I don't enjoy it. You can't aim down sight which is rediculous, how could the most elite soldier in the universe go into a battle like f***ing John Rambo? Also, the story is mediocre at best and I hate the way the online is "oldschool" ( you start off with the same weapons). I might give Reach a go at some stage but not for a long while.hitterofpeople
So umm...
What is "new school" online?
As I've stated before my favorite first person shooter of all time is Perfect Dark, and in that game you don't start with any weapons, people often argue that in "current generation shooters you all start with the same weapon".
Nobody "bashes" Halo, they just don't think it is the greatest thing ever like the rest of the world.
Halo 1 was a fun game, improved on many aspects of console first person shooters. Had great multiplayer and an interesting campaign.
The thing is, Halo 1 was far from perfect, and we really didn't need another one, and then another one, and then a **** RTS, and then another one, and then another one.
I would have been fine with 1.
Gamestop is a terrible company with shady as hell business practices, not to mention thier tendency to come into a town, buy all the used game stores, and turn them into Gamestop's. While there is nothing "wrong" with that second part it takes away the individuality and heart and soul of the stores and replaces them with a Gamestop carbon copy.
I always shop at local stores first, and then check online, and then finally ANY CHAIN STORE BESIDES GAMESTOP (Disc Replay, GameXChange, etc.), and then Gamestop if it gets to that.
If I use Gamestop at all, it is for pre-ordering games that are actually worth pre-ordering. Last game I did this with was Deathsmiles. I thought it would be really unlikely for any store to carry the Deathsmiles Limited Edition, and from what I have seen I was right. Gamestop is the only store I have seen this in.
Use Gamestop if it benefits you, just be aware of the superior options out there, especially when it comes to buying used games.

Ballroompirate
Amen!!!
Makes me want to pick up those games again, specially the first one.
It'll just make you sad that you can't play online anymore.
Least thats all I got out of playing them again.
Best to keep your ideas to yourself.
Idea theft is a big thing.
On topic though, I am done buying DLC. I will no longer pay money for something that I cannot hold in my hand.
I never really understood how people arrive at the total time spent playing games. Unless you purposely track it I don't see how you could even guess.
I tend to play arcade style games, so my sessions range from 20-30 minutes at the most, and I do many of these throughout the day. So I guess 3 hours maybe?
Yes it could, and I would really like it to.
But for all practical purposes it probably won't.
People love shotting stuff, and Resident Evil 4 and 5 supplied them with plenty of it.
If its any consolation the series has been going kind of back and forth lately. Resident Evil 4 came out and ruined the series, then we got a glorious return to form in Resident Evil Outbreak File #2. Then it got stupid again when Resident Evil 5 came out.
Resident Evil has been in every genre. Survival Horror, third person shooter, RPG/strategy, first person shooter, rail shooter, and the list goes on.
But I would argue it did survival horror best, and I would really like to see more of it.
