A couple people have said the classic "video games are not reality" line already in this thread.
I thought that was established already? Maybe they do not want to play an instrument, maybe they just want to play a videogame?
I don't play any rythm games at all really, so maybe I just do not understand. I think of it as the same type of thing as those Steering Wheel attachments that go for around $300.
If you are going to sell it to EB/Gamestop (they are the same company) at least make sure it is completely broken first. Gamestop does not deserve working products.
I actually had the misfortune of seeing this on television. My parents always watch that show in the morning before I head out to the college. I was about ready to turn off the television but I saw a preview for Wii music, so I stayed abit and I couldn't believe what I saw... That video made me cry on the inside as a video game player and Wii supporter.
Keep it for the reasons other people have already mentioned. It can use the hard drive and other multitaps besides the one that was specially made for the slim PS2 which I have never seen in person...
Not to mention it feels alot more durable to me. I have stepped on my Playstation 2 and it only ended up injuring me. Something tells me that the slim PS2 might go the other way...
