Quick Update

Just filling everyone in on my latest game progress, I haven't completed much since last post unfortunantly...my mind has been elsewhere...

Anywho, I unlocked the hard tracks and boats on Hydro Thunder and boy ARE THEY HARD....and ya that's it, till next time!

New Game Progress

I beat Time Crisis II & Time Crisis 3 ALREADY!!! Well, not entirely, but I got the story mode's on both done. I unlocked free play and rescue mission mode on Time Crisis 3 & unlocked free play and crisis mission mode on Time Crisis II. Now I have to go and rate/review these games, so look for that soon!

I also made some progress on Hydro Thunder, I have unlocked the medium difficulty level tracks and boats.

New Games & Accessories

Hello Gamespot,

Just here to post a quicky update to tell everyone that I have 3  new games in my possession since my last post, they are:

--- Hydro Thunder (Dreamcast) ---
--- Time Crisis II (PS2) ---
--- Time Crisis 3 (PS2) ---

And of course I had to get the light-guns to play the Time Crisis games with so I bought a couple of  MadCatz 2 Blasters, here's a picture of them. It's so blurry because my camera sucks at taking close ups. :x

Been Getting Back Into .Hack//Infection

So ya, I haven't touched .Hack//Infection for quite awhile because I felt I was getting nowhere. Bu I started playing it again three or four days ago and it seems I only needed to level everyone up a little more and then the story would progress. So ya, I've gotten all the way to the first boss and got Kite up from level 16 all the way to 30 in just a few days! It was the first "power gaming session" (as I call them) I'd had since GTA:SA came out, so needless to say I was happy about that :D

:!: In other news, I'm at level 7 in Morrowind:GOTY and also completed 2 chapters of The Incredible Hulk: UD :!:

I also got a little quality sit down time with the just released shooter Black since my cousin decided to get it after seeing commercials for it. I haven't gotten to play it much yet, but once my cousin beats it, I'll be doing a full play-through and posting what I think here. I can say fom the few levels I played though, that it's a good shooter at it's core.

 (P.S. - Anyone wanna suggest to me what level I should be at or what abilities I should have before attempting to slay the first major boss in .Hack//Infection ??? Any help would be very appreciated)

Awwww...

Damn, after reading Gamespot's review on Black just now, I'm dissappointed  Is it even worth it to get the game now? If anyone reading this has played it, please post and tell me if it's worth getting or if it really does suck :(

Anyone Seeing A Pattern?

Ya, I know, it's been hella long again since last update.  I'm starting to think these blog things might not be for me, my writing comes and goes as easily as my mood changes.  I don't even think anyone reads this anymore, but I'll keep it up, I don't know why, but I will.

I went on vacation to my hometown of Bellevue a few days ago and managed to pick up a couple of new games while I was there.  The games are:

- The Incredible Hulk:  Ultimate Destruction (PS2)
- The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: Game of the Year Edition (XBOX)

I know!  I finally got Morrowind!!!  I was looking for a GOTY edition copy FOREVER.  It's hella addicting, I almost couldn't get myself unglued from it long enough to sleep (I finally managed to at about 1:30am).

So ya, I've been playing Morrowind the most, but at the moment I'm playing Ultimate Destruction.  It's so fun to just run around and destroy stuff while you're stoned

I've also recently advanced my Tony Hawk uberness a few levels.  My friend Jude in Bellevue is the master at it, and I had a week to learn from him.  So I totally came back and starting beating the crap out of THUG2, I've already compleatly beat the first level on the story mode and most of the other levels are mostly beaten.

OMG BLACK IS OUT IN STORES!!! I ALMOST FORGOT!!!! :D
I'm sooooo going to Wenatchee tomorrow to buy a copy!!!

Oh ya and Kingdom Hearts 2 is coming out this month, I'm so stoked, except I haven't beaten KH1 or even seen CoM yet, so I don't know if I'll get thew story at all

I guess I'll have to finally finish KH1.....

Extra Large Update

So I'm sure anyone who reads this blog by now knows that I'm pretty damn lazy, usually I'd start this kind of a column with something the likes of "oh, I'm so sorry I haven't updated in so long".  But ya know what?  I'm done apologizing, no, I'm not sorry it took me so long to update and I don't really care that much if anyone was staying up for months straight to read this, because that would just make you stupid and I don't feel much remorse for the stupid.  Anyway, let's move on, because I have quite a bit to share.

This entry was predrafted months ago, just FYI.

So first off, a few months ago I had a very successful yardsale, managing to sell off at least half, if not more of all the crap I had.  I made a total of $86.70 in two days, not to mention pre-sale items my family had already bought!  Needless to say, I took this hard earned cash to the game store (nearest one being 40 some miles away in Wenattchee :x ) and bought myself a copy of the new "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Limited Edition" for the PS2, "Command and Conquer: Generals" for the PC and "Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver" for the PS1.

After that I still had to collect the rest of my money is pre-sale items, which came out total to $100, so, I go back to Wenatchee, still feeling comfortably rich, and buy some new games at Wal-Mart.  These games were "Dead to Rights 2", "Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne" and "Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy", all for the XBOX. I also picked up a cheap Pelican 2.4GHz wireless vibrating controller for the XBOX, Mostly because I needed a second controller, partly because I'M TIRED OF TRIPPING ON CORDS!!!

OK, so now that all that other crap is out of the way, here's the section I'm sure you were all waiting for, what I got for Christmas!  Now before I tell you about all the games I got, I'll tell you about my biggest present of the year.  My dad bought it for me online from E-Dimensional, it's a "VirtualFX 3D TV Convertor Box" that can change any TV signal, DVD/VHS movie or recent generation videogame (aka: PS2, XBOX, GC) from a flat 2D image to an actual 3D image right in your livingroom!  I won't explain too much about it now, but click this >>>LINK<<< for information on how it works and how to get your own for only $130!  I also received from my dad a copy of "Super Mario Sunshine" for the Gamecube,  "Tony Hawk's Underground 2" for the PS2 and "Final Fantasy IV Advance" for the GBA.  My mom got me a copy of "Final Fantasy I&II: Dawn of Souls" for the GBA.  My cousin Donovan got me a Logitech wireless vibrating controller for my PS2.  My other cousin Kasmira got me a copy of "Blitzkrieg" for the PC.  And lastly my Uncle got me "The Chronicals of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" for the PC.  I did get other things too, but since is my GAMING blog, I won't bother you with the other trivial details here.

ANNNNNND EVERYTHING ELSE....
 - My dad bought me a copy of "Call of Duty: Game of the Year Edition" for the PC just cause I asked him and so far I've gotten to the very beginning of the British campaign.
- My cousin Keegan let me borrow his "Empire Earth" game for PC but I've made little progress yet, mostly because I've been playing the games I got for Christmas.
- My dad bought me a PC-to-PC LAN connection cable for $15 so me and Keegan could play "Starcraft", "Halo" and "Command and Conquer: Generals" together on our laptops.  It should come in handy in case I ever wanna swap files or play games with someone when there is no other connection method.  Although it has become obsolete now, since we finished installing our complex-wide wireless fiber optics.
- Oh ya!  Did I mention the fiber-optics we just got?  It's awesome, Internet is fast as hell!  So I should be on 24/7 now :D .
- I paid off my FINAL house upgrade in "Animal Crossing" (GC)
- I got another golden ticket in "Sim Theme Park" (PS1)
- I beat "Mother" in "Jade Empire" (XBOX)

So, do any of you Gamespotters play  "Command & Conquer: Generals", "Blitzkrieg" or "Call of Duty" online?  If so, look me up on XFIRE so we can play a match!

Got My Stuff Back

So I thought I was gonna stop by my mom's place next month and pick up a few more things, but apparently I had too much stuff for her to handle so she caled me up and said I had to get ALL of my stuf out of her house by the weekend, so me and my dad drove halfway across the state again back to Bellevue, threw everything I have in the back of his truck, picked up a half ounce of pot and drove halfway across the state back to Manson, lol. It was one loooong, boring day. At least I got to see some scenery. I feel more in charge of my stuff now that it's all with me too, I'm gonna be havin a yard sale in the next few days after I get the rest of the stuff unpacked and sorted. I'm trying to decide what I'm gonna spend the money I make on.....a new video game perhaps?

Anyways, I got my Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo 64 and Nintendo Gamecube back now so I can play those again, I also have all of my computer games now so I gotta reinstall all of it on my laptop, I'm about halfway done with that...

Oh ya, one more thing..anyone watch Anime Unleashed on G4? Well if you do you've seen RahXephon, it's a hella good anime show, and my dad gave me $60 to buy the whole series on DVD :D Yay! My dad's so awsome, so ya, I'm been watching that, I just finished the 8th episode.

and that's all ::poof::

It's Been Too Long

Sorry to those of you who may keep up on my gaming blog, and even the ones that occasionally bop in. It has, once again, been far too long since my last update, but I've returned with quite a bit to talk about, at least enough to make a fairly good sized entry.

I'm making this entry from the only coffeeshop in this half-assed town with internet access, and it's DSL to boot! But that's not the point, the point is, I'm typing on my BRAND NEW LAPTOP!!!! 8) My dad bought it for me a few days ago at a Staples in Wenatchee as makeup for the last few X-Mas's and B-Day's I had where he didn't really give me much because of his lack of money. Anyway, here's the specs:

-It's an Acer Aspire 3000
-Running Windows XP Pro Edition
-With a "Mobile AMD Sempron processor 3000+" pumping 1.80GHz of processing power
-It's got an 80GB harddrive
-CD/DVD R/RW drive (w00t, I can finally burn DVD's!!! :D )
-512MB of DDR memory
-128MB of graphics processing power
-And an 802.11 b/g wireless LAN card

I also got a laptop case and a wireless USB mouse with it.

It's pretty much on par with the desktop PC that my mom had at her house, except it's slightly slower at processing things, but it makes up for that by having twice as much graphics power!!

And in other gaming news, right before I got kicked out I got "Dungeon Siege" for free, one of my mom's friends works at Microsoft and was just gonna get rid of it but gave it to me instead, all I have to say is, it's an awsome game, I really like it, unfortunantly it was left at my mom's house when I left, so I have to wait until I get to Bandon so I have an address to send my computer games to. I also got another new game, "Syberia" for $10 with my laptop, it looks absolutely beautiful on my new computer, except there seems to be some sound issues which I haven't been able to resolve yet involving the dialouge voices overlapping each other during conversations, which can get REALLY annoying.

At least I had the sense to grab my XBOX and PS2 before I left, I don't know what I would do without my virtual crack, AKA: Burnout 3. Oh ya, and my dad's got cable, whoop-dee-doo right? Wrong, apparently the G4 channel is part of the standard package around here!! So ya, I've been wasting my time watching that too.

Ya so, that's about all I have to report right now, I'll try to keep the updates more regular from now on, and if you'll excuse me, I have to go buy another soda before they kick me out of here...
