the events of odst are before the events of halo 3 so... it'd be logical to start in chronological order (by events, not release date) i'd say ODST then Halo 3

It's recommended that you do. A lot of the plot from bioshock 2 won't make sense if you don't play the first. For example: character development, the events of bioshock 1, etc. No spoilers intended but two of the characters in bioshock 1 make a swift transition into bioshock 2 so it'd be advised that you know some character development at least. You can also search youtube for "Bioshock in 5 minutes" if you dont want to play it

Like the messages above, it's all about opinion. Bioshock is action driven with constant streams of creepy goodness just rushing through your TV with an above average storyline. The game does feel like it ends earlier than it should and it is hyped up to be longer than it actually is. I personally spent roughly 8 hours beating bioshock on Normal, saving every sister, finding every power to the people stations and researching every enemy. It was fairly short. Mass effect on the other hand has an excellent story, it does feel like a book, which could be a bad thing in some cases. You'll be finding yourself intrigued trying to gain the loyalty of your team and spend roughly 26 hours or so doing nearly every subplot and mainplot in the game (excluding planet scanning, that's just tedious and boring). In the end, it's all about preference. The plot twists are much better in bioshock however.

HDMI cable ran me roughly 7$ at a local hardware/pc shop and a 22" Samsung can run you about 300, total, 307$, assuming your standard tax base is about 13%; a new setup will run you roughly 350$. http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/samsung-samsung-22-lcd-hdtv-ln22b350-ln22b350/10130010.aspx?path=83ae9e91c0741f7faebdf9a049ee51a5en02

nice find, always good to find random scrap that puts a smile on people's faces. I have a similar story too, found a bunch of empty xbox 1 casings in a box outside my work, i took two home and just hung them off my wall, looks pretty badass.
