In order to run the best of the new games, what kind of rig do you need (minimum)? And what is the price range?

I was wondering becuase I just bought CoD4 and can't run it, and I hope to play WAR when it comes out which I will also not be able to run for now.

Thanks for the help.

That's not bad.

How often does a rig like that need updating?

Haha alright.

Any idea on how much a PC that I could run about any game on would cost?

Not completely for gaming but I use the computer the most.

I only pick up a PC game if it really appeals to me, so far that's only been WoW and CoD4, my PC could run WoW full quality no problem.

I'm a pretty casual gamer, I'll typically play video games for 1-2 hours a day.

Budget...

That's unfortunately up to my parents.

I'm trying to talk them into a new computer, most likely a mac.

Alright thanks.

And to make this easier on everyone else how can I check the specs of my computer. Also, how can I check to see if I have a pci-e?

Sorry I'm completely inexperienced with this, but I really appreciate the help!

Alright, there's no way I'll be able to get a whole new PC. Just a new video card for sure, and maybe a new processor.

Upgrade meaning new pc and all, or just new video card and processor?

It just seems strange that i can't run this game, I could run World of Warcraft TBC on full quality with my old video card, so it seems like i wouldn't need a whole new computer.
