@burrito_tester The Wii had that same thought when it came to HD tvs, that really bit them in the ass down the road when HD became the norm. Consoles have 7-10 year cycles so it is a good thing to be somewhat future proof.

Microsoft is just scared that Sony's console will again, over power the next Xbox. Lets just hope lazy fucking devs will be able to program for it.
