Hello. I'm thinking about purchasing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion so I took the System Requirements Test. I passed the required but failed recommended. I failed it cause my CPU's Speed is at 2.2 Ghz, not 3.0 as they recommend. So I was wondering, how much lag will I have and will it (the game) be seamless or as I travel will it have to load?Zeldaguy16
Just one question is that a core 2 duo CPU or another one, if its C2D you won't have any problems at all, those thing are extremely efficient.
If you have a spare optical drive, put that in and see if it installs then, or it could be the harddrive. This is of course if your CD is not damaged as the previous poster said. One more thing if you are installing XP from a old backup disk (such as the ones from dell or HP), IT WILL NOT WORK.
PC users, simply create a shortcut to Diablo II. Right click on the shortcut, select "Properties" and add -w at the end of the Target. (Example: Target: "C Program FilesDiablo IIDiablo II.exe" -w)
This is right of the battlenet forums, here is the link:

Hm,
- A massive "defense" scenario with Barney, Alyx, the rebels and vortiguants (similar to Episode 2's Antlion cave scenario but much much grander in scale, IE holding out against swarms of zombies, combine, antlions etc.)
- The Portal Gun
- Return of the Gargantuas
- A couple of new enemies and perhaps one new weapon (besides the portal gun)
- Some really good puzzles
- A swamp/misty bog level. Lots of zombies, zombines etc. Very horror like. Hopefully give Ravenholm a run for its money as being the scariest part of the Half Life series.
- A good final boss fight.

I 100% agree with this post.
Republic Commando is not working because of the securom copy protection, you can thank Sony for that one. Your best bet is to find a fixed .exe file. I can't list the sites where you can get it here though.
As for KOTOR that game is hit or miss on vista, it won't work on my vista labtop either but it works fine on my XP desktop. Try searching around online for a solution to that.
Good Luck.
