LO was never hypes as a system seller or a AAA game. But it has lived up to a very good AA title like it was hyped.

According to the standards that have been set for the PS3 and the game scores it gets. And considering the Fact that PS3 owners are notoriously known for being jRPG lovers.

You would think that they would be running out to get a 360 now seeing that Lost Odyssey why not AAA but still a dam good AA title.

It's looking like Lost Odyssey is a dam good jRPG for the 360.

So riddle me this question is the 360 WORTHY now? Being the 360 has cleary made huge strides in the RPG market. And have some decent jrpg's now also.

So are you PS3 fans tempted to get a 360 now. I mean there is nothing worth noting for the PS3 and jrpg's until atleast 09 for FF.

Meaning i have 2 360's and 1 PS3 the best one also the 60gig.

Becuase i want the 360 for the best online and the best FPS games. And i got my PS3 for the action adventure games like DMC MGS others like Mercinaries 2 stuff like that and maybe some Blu-Ray movies. even though i know most multiplats are on each system

Well origionaly i got the PS3 at launch and wanted to sell it on Ebay that was the plan. But noone would buy it. Unlike the 360 that still sold for big dollars months after release. So i said screw it and kept the PS3.

I highly doubt the 360 or the PS3 is maxed out, but I will say this much about the Cell processor...it's too much work for most developers. Requiring such a big team of programmers to squeeze every ounce of processing power out of the Cell will take away programmers who could be doing more new and interesting things. In that sense, I say that even though the Cell isn't maxed out, it's going to lower the overall quality and innovation of games this generation.jalexbrown

Good way to put it.

Being Sony has stepped away from Cell. And they have becuase it's a failure on a lot of fronts. They will not do close to what they would have if it was a huge success. Meaning if it took off and many many contracts cam flowing in for the Cell to be used. Sony would be spending and providing much much more support with it's game developers then they do now.

Thus wise like i said. we are even further away from ever reaching these god like claims Sony had made back at E3 2005

Really, there hasnt been a 360 game that looks better than Gears yet and it is well over a year old and PS3 games are progressively looking better and better. Sometimes I dont understand peoples logic. All 3 systems have a lot of room to grow in the graphics department.rockydog1111

My point is here why sure Sony will still put them into the PS3.

The point is the Cell has not really cought on like they had hoped so they have pretty much said bye bye to any further research cost.

Do you think Toshiba or Samsung or whoever is going to waste there money for Sony and follow up with developers and help them reach this god almighty level that Sony claimed the Cell can do.

NO this is why we will never EVER see this so called god like potential now of the Cell.

Gabe newell has called PS3 a WASTE and says Sony should do a redo of another system.

And dident Steve jobs recently pretty much laugh at Sony after they begged him to use Cell chips. And He was like that chip is trash. So Sony finally said **** it and abandoned the cell.

The truth is here people Sony themselves have completely abandoned the FAILED CELL chip. So there is not going to be any major developer support for new techniques of squeezing and optimizing performance. Sony not going to continue to waste money on further development and support for developers. When they have abandoned the CELL.

RSX hmm it was outdated before it was released. This GPU was finished and sitting as vaporware for over 8 months before the PS3 even released. It's performance is about a under-clocked 7600.

Mainly because of the Cell and Sony abandoning it's research and production. This thing will NEVER EVER see it's so called potential.

In reality do not expect to see any improvement in PS3's graphics. Uncharted is about what the PS3 peaked at.
