I have my fingers crossed for a Ninja Gaiden 2 tattoo or a MGS4 tattoo.

And no more core wouldn't be a good message, so that's not possible.

We answered your question already. I don't see why a new thread needs to be made for a small question like that.

my first post.. well im a uk resident and want to import an Xbox from the US but im not excatly in the know and i jst wanted to ask you guys out there if the xbox would work in the UK with our games or would i have to buyUS games?

OR is the Xbox universal?

OR what specifications i need to look for when importing from america to know if its compatible?

I think you would need some sort of power converter since they use a different one in the US.

Other then that, you would need to get NTSC games which aren't available in regular stores in the UK. Those are PAL region coded. You can get NTSC games off sites such as Playasia.

hey um i was ready to buy an xbox and some people say you have to have either xbox live silver or gold is this true

julianvillella

No, you don't have to hook up your 360 to the internet if you don't want to.

However, if you do, you will automatically recieve a Silver subscription which is free. You can do anything with this except send messages and play online. A Gold subscription costs a set fee per year ($ 50 for US, 60 euro's for Europe of 40 pounds for UK) and you can then do anything with it.

It does work but I don't know which ones work. Some don't.

Still, the official one is not a ripoff. It has a huge range without loss of connection speed. Mine only works with the official one. The others can't connect or connect very poorly.

I'm bumbed we don't get the awesome gamerpictures. It's a weird thing to complain about, but still. I saw the US has loads and loads of gamerpictures and allot of free ones too and allot of cool ones. We have way less then what's illustrated on Xbox.com, I'd bet about 50% of it if that. And next to nothing is free. I think one gamerpicture is free and that's the Gears of War one.

Yeah, it does look good. I don't expect it to be AAA material but fun nevertheless. I will be picking up the Limited Edition.

I would say call and ask.

In the future, ask what the warranty actually covers before you purchase it. For instance, some stores actually try to sell you warranty and then go through Microsoft with the basic warranty not adding any value for your money at all.

You need to ask specifically if you will get a replacement the same day you walk in the store with your broken console. If the answer is yes, then get the warranty.

It is generally unreliable.

However, you get 3 years of warranty against system failure and one year against any other problems. So, even so, it does not matter.

I'm not sure. I will get a WWII shooter though, since I have none yet for the 360 and although developers are overflooding us with them, they are usually a very intense experience. COD2 wasn't a big wow for me and I simply hated COD3's gameplay. So, since Hour of Victory is obviously out of the picture, it's now between Medal of Honor: Airborne and Brothers in Arms Hells Highway for me. I have to see which of the two I like best.

Brothers in Arms seems to be a more tactical take on it where Airborne will give freedom. I have to wait and see which one turns out to best suit me.
