Maybe that fact that I couldnt stand him saying Dre, G-Unit, NWA, westside and etc. over and over again distracted me...HaSheeSh_basic
His lyrics are much better on The Documentary, and the production wasn't average.
Lyircally...the DA, but the Doc owns it in content, hooks, production, etc....it was much more effective...The DA was just a lighter version of the Doc
Only song where Game went off with rhymes was "Scream On Em'" really. If he kept being lyrical like that on more songs,DA would've been a near cl*ssic.
WORD...DA was wack as hell...The Documentary is my sh*t...I mean you Dreams, Hate It Or Love It (cl*ssic track DA doesnt have), How We Do (not lyrical but its a great party track), Like Father, Like Son...a lot of great stuff as for DA...it was mad average...I know mad Game groupies just say DA just because 50 isnt on it...but there isnt any true bangers besides Scream On Em, Doctor's Advocate, California Vacation, Around The World and Why You Hate The Game....One Blood, Da Sh*t, Remedy, Wouldnt Get Far, Let's Ride = garbage.
THe songs Doctor's Advocate and California Vacation are whack as hell, wtf u talkin about? One Blood = best track and Let's Ride along with Remedy are quite ill.Doctor's Advocate (the song) is wack??? Come on now, Game put in real effort in that song...sure it may sound like he's begging for Dr. Dre to work with him again like he broke up with his gf and cant get over it but the concept of a letter to Dr. Dre and asking for forgiveness is better than just "Im from Compton n*gga!!!" or "Im in my 6-4 impala" and Busta killed the track and stating that "the problem was that little n*gga wasnt listening" and pretty much gets over the whole Dr. Dre/Game situation....as for California Vacation, that song had a really nice beat and Xzibit rips the track...but one question, what's really so good about One Blood?? cause that song was overrated imo.
Name dropping was at a minimum, ridiculous production (the addictive looped sample), and lyrically on top (best than the majority of the songs). Hell, it's even better than the wu-tang version of the song.
All I can agree with is the name dropping...not as much as that but still, lyrically on top???
" i bleed compton spit crack the sh*t cronic
and you new n*ggas ain't shyt but new n*ggas
bape n ape shoe n*ggas i'm talkin to you n*gga
bounce n the 6-4 throw up the west side man"
....uhh sure thing man...sure lyrically rapes Masta Killa on this verse.
" We movin in unmarked vans, disguised as a light tan
with plastic phasers in rubber hands
f*ck fame, I shoot a hole in a 50 cent piece to test my aim
How dare you call the Gods in vein!
Not knowin the seriousness of this and why I came
to Earth, feet first"
Masta Killah's verse is the only good thing about the song, beat isn't that great...and the rest of the song puts me to sleep
Yeah but you did say One Blood he was lyrically on top and it was better than One Blood Under Wu.now I wasnt a big fan of the Wu record either but its better than "Im in my 6-4 impala" and saying ***** like 4 times cause he cant rhyme it with anything else...plus One Blood annoys me with that "Bluh bluh bluh bluh bluh" bs.
