Just say Whats up or Whats going on if she wants to talk she'll say something that you can build off of. If she doesn't say anything worthy of a conversation eg. "Nothing", then 1. she doesn't want to talk right now, which in this case try to talk to her when she is in a good mood. or 2. she doesn't want to talk to you.
ok, the problem about sharing interests with people is that i dont really have any hobbies or interests. i only do my school work, play videogames, watch tv, go outdoors, watch movies, and i dont have a car and i dont participate in any clubs. Tooweet

If you were friends with her then you should know some of her interests. Start with them. Like what do you think about (insert something you know she likes)
