@rat-fish So if I make a patently false assertion, but stand up for it, I have more integrity than if I reevaluated my false assertion and said nothing?
@Spitznock It's fine to have games that don't cater to your tastes, but that doesn't mean they're "wrong" for doing so. I like "arcadey" racing games, but I don't call out Gran Turismo for not being "real" enough, nor treating auto sports with dignity and realism given the danger drivers face if they get into an accident (rather than have their car dinged up a bit.)
@akajaybay No, he specifically says that the game shouldn't be fun or entertaining, just as the best war movies are not, based on the seriousness of war as a subject matter. The fact that the game describes itself as "authentic" only made it an easy target for him.
