I remember reading something online about the $299 Ceramic White PS3 coming to North America. It also said that they would go on sale Monday. Anyone know if this was just a rumor or are they actually coming out with a $299 PS3.
I would like to see Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin (and some more songs from them), Sympathy for the Devil by The Rolling Stones, Paradise City by Guns N' Roses, Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N' Roses, and Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N Roses.
I think playing wise, PSN is better. I haven't had any lagging issues on PSN. Xbox Live, I can't even play most games because of the lag (especially sports games). It may be because of my connection or something, but I have a lot of problems with Xbox Live, but I don't have any with PSN.
Well I never trade in games or consoles so I really have no need for backwards compatibility, and in my opinion, the point for buying a new console is to play the new games for it. The only game I've played so far is Bully on my PS3.
I've passed on a lot like, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Rachet and Clank Futer: Tools of Destruction, Warhawk, and Unreal Tournament 3. I've just haven't had the money. The only games I got for Christmas were NBA 2K8, Rock Band (for 360) and Assassin's Creed. My birthday is in April, but the only two games I'm getting that month are Metal Gear Solid 4, and Grand Theft Auto IV. So I guess the only way I'll get those games is when the prices drop. I don't even have a job yet since I'm 14 so I can't really do anything about it.
Yes, if you really want the exclusive games that are coming out this year like, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Killzone 2, Haze, Final Fantasy, Resistance 2 and some others that I can't think of right now, but if you aren't really interested in those games, just stick with the 360 and save that $1,000 for better things.
