well i've had the laptop about 6 months now and i defragment it once every week + i've turned the indexing off. thanks for the suggestions though =DOnly thing I can think is the hard drive is accessing for something every now and then. If you've just bought the computer it may still be indexing etc or defragmenting or something whilst you play which may cause these issues. I would defragment your computer sometime and see if that helps.
