The organs spilling out of the alien are very realistic, and the blood too. There is colour everywhere and it's clear that the environments are some of the best. There is also a mountain in that picture so my speculation is that the player will be able to drive off the city and climb mountains for better views for sniping. This may even beat out the current climbing king Assassin's Creed. The character models only continue to improve as Epic Games makes over-the-top realistic alien armor to go with the fantastic alien designs.

I completely agree, Gears of War is a whole league ahead of Uncharted. Naughty Dog just isn't skilled enough to make a game as epic as Gears of War. It's very realistic and it can be used to predict future alien invasions, the gun designs are fantastic and the attached chainsaws are genius. If only all games were like this, especially with the foliage and the fantastic water effects, it was amazing. Not like the jello that's called water in Uncharted.

Marcus Phenix and his friends take very realistic precautions when fighting these aliens, and they're very realistic. They're designed very well like a normal alien and come from underground, a place we've never went below. As my good friend theuncharted has said, the tanks can be copied for Gears of War and used to fight in wars, or at least to prepare for future alien invasions. It's clear Cliff Blezinski has talked with NASA and developed realistic aliens along with advanced vehicles. Gears of War is a franchise that just may help humanity. Also the gun play and the cover is very realistic. It has perfect recoil and the vehicles control like they're real. This has clearly beaten Crysis in realism and graphical fidelity, especially with the foliage in that image. Today is a grim day for hermits.

It's the xmb and it uses one spe. It doesn't use any cores :P

the in-game XMB uses up lots of cores because of the various icons displayed at high-resolutions. You need the action of also selecting them and interacting with the icons. Sony was very lazy about this and made it use up too much RAM and cores. They didn't think about the games, and also in order for the blu-ray to read the disk well with the blue laser, it is higher quality, but it uses up lots of electricity to make it spin at such high speeds. It's inefficient.

fantastic post my friend, as you can see this proves that Gears of War got lots of awards and great reviews. Like I've said before, the fantastic vehicle designs should be used by the US military to fight in wars. They should also copy Marcus Phenix's armor design so soldiers don't die a lot. Or they can use Microsoft Kinect to control robotic soldiers so they don't die. Microsoft will go where no other gaming company has ever gone before.

basically for those who didn't read, the first paragraph talked about Gears of War 2 being pouch king (best pouches in gaming history as you can see in Marcus Phenix's armor) and the fact that the armor details looks better than drakes shirt which looks like it was photoshopped on since it never moves.

The second screenshot in the jungle is a level from Gears of War 3, it shows the fantastic foliage and how Uncharted 3 will not be graphics king. With Microsoft having Kinect with games like Kinectimals beating out Pokemon, we'll see a new industry leader: Microsoft.

I find my arguments VERY valid and subjective.

Uncharted 3 was announced but had terrible graphics compared to Gears of War 2, the current graphics king:

Unhearted 3 can't compare to the detail of that in-game screenshot, you have that main character Nathan Drake that has a t-shirt that's obviously just photoshopped on, it doesn't change, it's just a fixed image with random wrinkles. Marcus Phenix has outstanding design on his armor, there are the various pouches for ammo and grenades, and such. Heck i'd go far as to say that Gears of War 2 is pouch king because not even Pokemon with its pouches can beat the graphical fidelity that Gears of War has reached with pouches. The fire effects have lots of realistic smoke as one can see and the scope of this game is fantastic, it's very open-world. Uncharted 3 is a fail TPS with boring puzzles and mediocre platforming, all you do is go down corridors, that's it. Gears of War is a godly TPS, it also has some of the best vehicles in history, the US military should think of borrowing designs of Gears of War vehicles to fight battle in wars. They should also copy Marcus Phenix's armor to help troops die less. Uncharted 2 didn't deserve best graphics because it simply looked bad. The snow was just a field that's white with random textures on it. Gears of War has fantastic foliage, here is a jungle level taken from Gears of War 3:

As you can see it's a huge leap in technology and miles better than Uncharted. It has tons of anti-aliasing and is a graphical marvel. Epic Games have proven their prowess in programming for a long time now, and the delay has really helped improve the game. Gears of War 3 has fantastic graphics and is what Uncharted wishes to be. It's sad that Sony is trying so hard with LBP 2 and its floaty, mediocre platforming, Killzone 3 and its heavy controls with terrible replay value unlike the godly FPS which won best shooter of the year: Halo: Reach, and also we all know that the 360 is the best platform for Black Ops, the best selling game on consoles. 90% of multiplats looks way better on 360 than PS3, and the 360 has the Xenon GPU which is much stronger than the PS3's GPU The Cell. Sony has put lots of information about it being able to play 120fps and it having 8 cores but recent investigations have found that these are actually conspiracies. The Cell has 2 cores that are not used, 3 cores used up for in-game XMV, 2 just to run the PS3, leaving only 1 core left for games. This is an outrage for gamers, but the Xenon has 2 cores for games, double that of The Cell. It seems that Sony has reached its end in the gaming industry and should step-down for our new-born King: Microsoft. Forever may he reign. Especially with their new hardcore hardware: Kinect, moving the 360 which has never been done before. Microsoft has invented no-controller motion controls and the army should continue to use Kinect for soldiers to control robots so they don't actually die. With games like Kinectimals beating out Pokemon, Microsoft will be the leader of the industry very soon.

I'm stuck between two games. One I've played before and traded in (regretfully) and a new one. Killzone 2 vs Demon's Souls. I traded in KZ2 a while ago after getting a bit bored of it (though now I realize I wasn't really bored, I don't know what I was thinking trading it in, I might have had a brain fart or something) and now one of my friends have it. Plus the online looks fun to me after the videos, and also it's been getting tons of praise. I want to try it out again.

But on the other hand, there is Demons Souls which looks fantastic and it's also been getting tons of praise. It also got GOTY, etc. oh and oneof my friends recently got KZ2 which also makes me kind of want to get it. This may seem like a no-brainer to some but, honestly, I'm not good at making decisions myself, I need tons of research to make up my mind. I'm very open. Which one of the two would you all recommend?

I see the graphics and they are fantastic....but then they said it was pre-alpha and my mouth just fell open.
