Seems more like it was a DLC add on mode for Metal Gear Online on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain that they decided to sell as a stand alone game..
There was a Pikachu themed New 3DS XL announced in Japan around the same time. I wish that was coming out as well!! Pikachu New 3DS XL
4K Blu ray player would have sold me on it... without that I don't really see the point. I'm disappointed, I expected better from Sony
