yea shotguns kick...but still the recoil in games in unrealistic. your shoulder just moves back alittle when shooting shotgun, after shooting alot of rounds ur shoulder and trigger finger will hurt lol the recoil will hurt it finger pulling trigger espescially if you use a double barrel and pull both trigger sametime i done it lol i have shot down trees before not small ones either a good 30 ft or so high. trying to make everything so realistic is stupid lol.
