ok, with my experience with newegg, they have AWESOME customer serive and product handling. With something like a CPU id be a bit weary as well, but trusting newegg, it may be worth it. as long as there is still a return policy attatched to the item id get it unless you dont want to deal with the possible hassle of returning it.

ok and if i decided to go the speaker route.....is the Z 5500 a good stereo, or is it simply better to get a nice 2.1 audio system? Ive heard that comp 5.1 stereos have been notorious for lousy quality because they simply sell you the 5 speakers and thats the main deal, but neglect quality in doing so. but the Z 5500 is supposedly the best 5.1 so i was hoping that it would be good as well, plus is has digital optical in which, I would assume, would give me better sound output.

sorry bout leaving the info out. it is an onboard audio chip but it has a digital optic audio output which is why i figured it was sufficient. and no i havent messed with overclocking........to be honest I havent educated myself in the art enought o be messing with it so any pointers would help :). and 2.8 would be ok without too much risk?

I mean there is a LITTLE and i stress the word LITTLE increase in FPS but not enough to make me want to play on the lower graphics. basically it seems like the problem isnt based on graphic ouput alone but my CPU is an Intel 1.8Ghz processor with an 800Mhz FSB...........I dont truly know what the front side bus deal is but anyways thats it. i have been hearing that vista makes all games kinda choppy like that even with good GPUs. is that true? oh and the choppiness is most easily noticed when i look from right to left with the mouse, its like it locks up for a second but it doesnt always do it........

I have to agree. The best thing about having a comp is playing FPS using the mouse and keyboard.....personally I hate playing them on consols but that may be just me.

My current system is a coolermaster case,

1GB x 2 DDR2 800 ram PNY,

Core 2 duo 1.8GHZ processor,

500W thermaltake PSU,

and a GeForce 7950GT 256MB.............

Any suggestions or opinions? Even if you think im dumb lol LET 'ER RIP!!
