Ok this is going to get pretty long, and complicated because it's mostly about how unlikely life is on earth.

First our planet has the basic build up of just supporting planet which is insanely rare universe.

Second our planet has the natural energy resources available to support pre-Phototroph life. Evolving into a phototroph takes millions of years and finding a balance between naturally occuring fuels and population control is even more rare than finding a planet that sustanes life.

Third 4 billion years of fairly stable conditions, and some very specific and amazing changes in evolution that lead to human development.

Ok given just these three conditions and putting it under the test of probabilty the smart money's on that it just didn't happen by accident.

Do you seriously believe that we are the only living things in the entire universe?   I'm sure this has been going on all over the universe on other planets, what makes you think that earthlings are so special?
