"or too long, the only game featuring ninjas gamers went crazy about was Ninja Gaiden. The series has been good in all its glory so it's not like the series was a bad game and the only one of its kind. There have been a few other games that tried to compare to it but never really shined. Now there is a game that can truly be called "The game better than Ninja Gaiden!" This game of course is Ninja Blades (leave it to the developers to come up with such an obvious title for a game; why not Blades of Steel or something? I'm sure Konami would be glad to give off that old name I mean they certainly aren't about hockey anymore). Anyhow, back to topic; This Microsoft exclusive has been said to be a God of War and Ninja Gaiden mix. Sounds good to me, but unfortunately I haven't been able to experience this game first hand so I can't say if it's mere fanboy talk or it actually is that good.
As amazing as this game is, Tomonobu Itagaki once said that quick time events aren't good to use in fighting games. Whether I can agree with this or not is a different issue. He also took a shot at Heavenly Sword's quick time events as well, but to me as long as developers can capture this right, it works fine with me and Heavenly Sword did just that. Ninja Blades is a brand new IP and yet it seems From Software didn't take Itagaki's words to seriously and it made their game a success so far.
Aside from the outstanding graphics, this game also packs outstanding game play that you won't soon get bored of. The Demo is Live for download on XBL now so I'll be checking that out soon. I don't own a 360 since all my previous 360's have broken down and I refuse to buy another. Fortunately I still have plenty access to it through friends though I usually only play it on the weekends. This game is building up to be excellent from what I've heard and seen. The game contains a great amount of fast paced action and immense quick time events that ties in with the game to give it the good cinematic quality.
This game unfortunately isn't on these "Hardcore gamers" radar since they are only interested in shooters and whatnot. The scale of the game is impressive featuring weapons, magic, smart Ai enemies, and intense boss battles. You play the role of a ninja named Ken. You start the game fairly quick running down walls fighting your way to the bottom. This game is a great addition to the action genre and takes all these action fighting games to all new heights; it's definitely a worthy opponent to the God of War Series. Microsoft has once again secured a title that's worth purchasing on their system for. GDC and E3 is coming and if Microsoft is sending these types of messages with their games this early in the year then Sony better focus on PS3 which is the now and the future, though it is hard for them to abandon the PS2 with all its fan base but if they can't focus all their time and money into just one major console, they will find themselves slipping instead of closing the gap."

the full game is much better than the demo,
while I understand and respect Gamespots score
to me its still 9.0 like IGN and GT
its AAA,
but I wasa expecting a little more though
I think Gamespot was right to give it a 9.0, it won't appeal to everyone so they can't AAA it but it will make many many many people happy.Spelling error I suppose? First it gets a 9.0 but Gamespot doesn't AAA it? Wuah? :P yeah im pretty sure he meant 8.5[QUOTE="Toriko42"]
[QUOTE="Stevo_the_gamer"]
