NO i am not blaming anyone for this. It is my fault for not buying the waranty. The enviroment is fine where i had it, enough air space and i never moved it when it was on.

P.S.---I have had it since March 06, and never had it on widescreen.  It is on a sdtv and on normal screen setting.  I know how to set it up.  And i put it on widescreen to see what happen and it filled the entire screen.  So my system probably will get the red lights soon....

Okay i have had my 360 since March 06, and now crap is starting. It is playing games in wide-screen on my sdtv set and my power brick seems to be leaking some grease from where the cord that connects into the system connects to the power brick. And at the time of purchase i didn't buy a warranty. So they want me to send it in along with 140.00. I just going to let it break and buy an elite. Gamestop won't take that trade now because games are playing in wide-screen.

okay i have a premium xbox 360 and a regular sdtv set. Anyway i rented MLB 2k6 to get the rest of achievments, so i put the disk in and downloaded an update. To finish this, why is it displaying in letterbox format. And NO i don't have it on widescreen. Or has it always been in letterbox form

Stop crying man, it is obvisouly a bad one.  Do u think whenever a company makes a product everything is "100 %" perfect.  Sorry it dont happen that way.  I have had mine since March 6, 2006 and nothing wrong with mine so maybe it is wehre u set it or something.

Ok, EA's games have been the same games with different paint jobs

The Football game has been the same for a while now.  I have purchased 2001, 2004, 2007, rented 2006.  And whoa it is the same game over and over.  The graphics have updated i will give them that.  BUT COME ON, i want good controls.  Anding just "ONE" new feature is not grounds to sell a entirely new game

The Basketball games just plain SUCK.  I had Live 2003 which had J-Kidd on the cover.  I somewhat enjoyed it for a bit but then it got so dumb.  I just rented NBA Live 08 and whoa that game sucks.  First off the Players just glide over the court, and they don't even move like a player compared to NBA 2k7.  And other thing NBA Live 08 wasn't that much of an upgrade of NBA Live07.  THe recurring theme is that this game also had crap for controls.

SO maybe they should take a page from 2k's book.  GOOD CONTROLS+GOOD GRAPHICS=A GOOD GAME, but maybe they have a good idea.  Buy out the competition so they don't have to make decent working games.
