If your controller is wireless, you'll need a wireless receiver. No way around that. You can't use your wireless 360 controller just with the charge usb cable.

lol how you suppose to connect the controller to the computer wirelessly without buying anything?

uhm. thats what im doing, i dont expect the thing to wirelessly connect to my pc.

It asks me to press A with the 360 'A' lookin button and it says it is compatible with the 360 controller and a gaming pad only.

So i have a wireless 360 controller which i wish to use on my PC for Beat Hazard. I cant find any posts about anyone wanting to use the USB plug in. So my question is. Is it possible to use the 360 Wireless controller with the usb plug attatched to the controller and plugged into my computer and use it? My computer finds the controller and everything. It says "Xbox 360 Wireless Plug and play controller Ready to use!" It wont work with the game or anything i try.

I have taken obvious steps so please i dont need anyones dumb answers like "Have you restarted you computer?" or some crap like that. I use computers all the time. I google what i want to know and go here to get information i cant find. Thanks.

I found out, max level for anything is level 3. The max level as far as bounties go is level 20 :P
