When you sell millions of copies of a game and it's still a failure, the answer is clear: stop wasting time on graphics; we don't even hear about Crysis 3 anymore, and it was released just a couple months ago. Focus on gameplay, mid range graphical quality and you will get an accessible, robust, and almost bug free game. And ofcourse, 3-4 millions of sold copies will be considered good again.
Now we are speaking with numbers... The previous post left me wondering how 3.4m wasn't a good thing, but after this one I can understand what Square Enix is up to.
The gameplay reminds me of vampire Bloodlines, while the music reminds me of the Deus Ex series. Damn, how could it be better than that? Totally looking forward to this.
Why people compare this franchise with CoD? Just because it will have a new title every year? Some people need to get the facts straight here. Ok, it is a cash cow indeed, as with EVERY other sequel out there. CoD is a repetitive dumb mess, while AC tries something new with every sequel.
I think gamers and reviewers need to relearn how to play video games and have fun doing that. For instance, why should a boring and linear corridor shooter like Call of Duty get good reviews while any other shooter which tries the same formula shouldn't? Think about it.
This was my first PC game, I played it a lot of times, although I don't touch this title for a while by now. I didn't remember how difficult those traps were! And yes, I think I died a lot at them too!
