Alot people mistaken demanding system source to the actual optimization, So far the SLI profiling worked great, and all CPU cores are evenly worked out through and through, I agree that a lot glitches need to be addressed, especially on PC, but visually speaking ACU is definitely top 3 best looking PC games out there that is, its graphic totally justify the system requirement.
To address the topic, you probably shouldn't get PC version if you have anything less than a GTX680/770 and if you don't mind stick to low/medium setting(below console visual) game doesn't seem ask much from CPU and Ram, 3rd gen I5 and 8G should be enough, (60% on my CPU and 40% on 32G ram)
For everyone's info(from Nvidia)
Now that pic is just nonsense, the 680 and 770 are basically the same card.. And the difference is low to high?
And come on.. the requirements are justified? The game has literally the worst pop-in I have ever seen. Also it looks great inside interiors and when on street level, but when you get on a roof or an open area the awful LOD starts to show all over the place. The game is horribly optimized, even the console version which is supposed to run at 30 keeps dropping to 20.
770 has 8%-15% advanctage on 680 in all benchmark tests, suggesting a better card to play at slightly higher setting sounds pretty reasonable to me. especially from GPU manufacture itself.
Maybe there are many reasons to hate ACU, but graphic definitely isn't one of them, people asking for true next gen graphic and UBI delivered(maybe pushed the limit little too far) this is the detail on one random NPC out of couple thousands,
pop in had been fixed 1 patch ago, also in door environment has 95% less objects/Characters with no GI to render, hence requirement far less computing power, same with every other open world games ever released,
making no mistake, this game is built for 5% PC gamers, and maybe 2% for full experience. UBI did made it clear before release, I'm sure most PC gamers read the system requirement.
Sorry if I didn't make things more clear in my OP.
On paper the new ram is EXACTLY the same as the old one i.e. Kingston 2GB DDR3 1333 Mhz ram. Now it looks different and I never really gave that a thought before purchasing. Here are links to the old and new ram respectively.

I don't see what possible difference there is to cause incompatibility. Currently I am unable to purchase ram that looks like the first link in my country.
My PC refuses to boot up even if I remove all sticks and just put one stick of the new ram. Same thing happens if I mix old and new ram, 3 beeps on boot up and continuous bootloop with no display. My PC continues to operate like normal with the older ram so I haven't blown anything yet hehe.
I'll keep looking for ram that looks like my old one but I am perplexed as to why exactly is my motherboard not compatible with the other style of ram?
Physically on the picture, the RAM on the left clearly shows a DDR2 Dimm Size, it's either you picked the wrong model or they shipped you the wrong one, end reality is these 2 won't work together, there's no work around to this.
....you are trying to put DDR3 memory modules onto a DDR2 only mobo which is designed for Core 2 duo chipsets(memory compatibility is defined by chipset) of course it's not going to work, not even the dimm size are the same......
and that original 1080p image became 270p streached to 546p image in your post(not sure if done intentionally) the original screenshot looked great. These 2 screenshots from your post are from here ---> (they are used to compare high to ultra high detail difference rather than showcase the graphic)

It's pretty obvious that you don't own a copy, and have no idea what ACU looks like. Your texture complain had been addressed. Detail on one random NPC looked better than 90% games' main character, There're almost no game on the market looked more next gen than ACU at moment, as other posters already stated. Those who met system requirement have no problem to appreciate the visual feast. Yes, there are bugs and glitches need to be fixed, but that's another topic.
lol! people chitting about ACU's texture quality by posting a screenshot captured from a 480p youtube vid, really? character rendering, texture work, tessellation, VFX effects, ACU is perpahs the best looking PC game out there that is in every respect. Detail on one random NPC out of 5000 can easily crap out 90% games's main characters
