what? every ps3 game has the bluray symbol as every game is on a bluray disk.Mckenna1845
No they dont. Or at least not multiplatform games.
I am using Firefox so I can't copy and paste but when you look at the cover on the Ps3 version of Far Cry there is a banner across the game that clearly shows that it's on Blue Ray. No other game has that.
I'm not CLAIMING it is, but I am asking this question:
Why is that when I got to the Far Cry page here on Gamespot (The Ps3 Version) I see a Blu Ray Label running across the top? Is this because the game will be using Blu Ray functionalities? Will it take up the 50 GB's of space? I have never noticed this with any other game cover, but why does Far Cry 2 have this? Does this mean that the 360 and PS3 version will be noticeably different? I would think that since Blue Ray is superior it would prove to be the graphical powerhouse but I thought that most multiplatform games used the max space on a 360 disc and just slapped it onto the Blue Ray disc for the PS3 version.
I'm GameFreakJason and have been on these board for a good 3 years (though no one really knows who I am :( I am, however, aware of a lot of other regulars).
Handhelds seem to be a great, and lighter way of gaming for those who are away from their consoles/away from home all the time.
PSP offers a good multimedia handheld while the DS offers interesting games that offer a great amount of fun.
With handhelds being relatively popular, you would think that Microsoft would have tried to enter the world of Portable Gaming. Do you think that they should make that move?
Isn't this supposed to be one of Sony's biggest games?
I mean, I know it's been underplayed with all the LBP hype and all the other games coming out this month and so, but the franchise/few reader reviews I've read show that this game is pretty good.
It's just a shame, the developers put a lot of time into this and it's being forgotten. This goes for any real game but I was just wondering what you guys thought.
Same goes for "Rock Revolution" which was a pretty bad move by Konami.
I worry about Socom though since it looked like it was going to be great-- I'm afraid that online (since it doesn't feature a story) will be scarce.
