Well i just finished updating my ratings and my collection of video games after these two long years and i can plainly see that my views have changed. Im no longer in love with halo and assassin's creed is a terrible game... Most of my games with high ratings are some of the older games, i guess the new games are just focused on the money aspect behind video games and not really the actual experience... i have been noticing that its been very hard to find exceptional games these days, sure there are good games but when was the last time you found a truly exceptional game that really brings in some fresh ideas, the type you stay up all night playing and regret it the next day when you feel like crap. Another thing i noticed is that you really should never trust a game's rating... some of my favorites are below 7 or even somewhere around 5. Some games are just more than they appear on the outside and you really gotta spend your fair share of time with them before you can truly appreciate all the game has to offer. Well whatever, what do i know... it's really late and maybe im writing a bunch of junk or maybe im actually on to something, im not in a fit state to decide one or the other so decide for yourself....

After almost 2 years (and the time it took me to remember my password and username) im actually on this site again... So... anyone miss me??... Ohhh ya, i have like 4 friends on this site so of course nobody noticed. Well i guess im back now so if anyone wants to read these i might make some more...?? Anyone??? Well even if nobody reads them i like to write whatever pops into my head. Some of the stuff i wrote back then was pretty funny, and some of it was lame i wont deny that but i did get a kick out of my previous rants and decided that even without and audience it's worth it to write something like this...that was a long sentence... well alright im done for now

Now most people either ignore or dont give a sh!t about these blog rants but for those of you who have nothing better to do then read the cr*p I write really fast I thought id inform you about PDZ. Now perfect dark zero is a pretty good game with decent graphics, although they will make you barf on splitscreen, you may not want to get it unless you like bots with bad AI or have online capabilities where the fun happens. Now I have no online nor have I played it before so i have low standards, but who care about me. The single player is fun enough and offers multiple difficulty levels Agent, secret agent, perfect agent and F*UCKING dark agent. agent is too easy, secret agent is just right, perfect agent is way too hard and goddamned dark agent was created to be literally impossible. All of the 13 levels can be enjoyed through co-op and stealth is present though minimal. Now, after the rigourous training session know as single player you are ready to embark into multiplayer. Now mutiplayer contains many modes, including standard matches such as deathmatch, and capture the flag and other wierd modes like eradication where 2 teams of 16 battle it out, each man with one life, and an infection game like a die and become a zombie also type game. the guns are all distinct in there own way and have secondary and teritiary function that are often cool. So the game is great online and decent everywhere else, if this stupid rant has convinced anyone (if anyone has even read it) you should probably get this game.

Oblivion is not quite what it should be. It should be epic, but certain things prevent this. There is NOTHING fun to do besides quests and exploring dungeons. Two, I bought this game hoping to be imerssed into a beautifull landscape, but as it turns out, this game is extremelly unimerssive, and while some things in the game look great, other things look horrible making a Crysis on medium effect but much, much worse. Cities are pretty nice through and through, but take a step outside and you may not stay for long. Up close the game is bearable, but the worst thing is the ground. While this may not seem like a big thing, it is, there is a reason the game has so much grass, its to obscure the disgusting N64'ish green and brown medley that calls itself the ground. But the grass does not even appear until up close! And the grass is not the only thing that make you believe you are near-sighted, no, If you are far enough you are likely to be staring at a treeless, wasteland. The developpers tried to hide this effect by putting way too many hills that obcure your site like they did with the grass. If that was not enough here is numeber 3, There is no diversity in the land. As mentioned its all hills and you never think to yourself, here is a place that stands out. Number four, combat could have been better, basic combat formula= slash, slash, block then repeat, or for mages, magic, magic, run away and repeat. And the big number five, the storyline is sooo horrible and uneventfull you feel no motivation to see what will happen next, which is mostly why the game is unimmersive. All things said, the game is not as bad as i just made it seem, even though everything i said was true, there is more that will draw your attention to its better side. Such as its realism, if you break the law you are punished, you can enter any house using a picklock, you can persuade people to get better deals when buying or selling, you can bet on a match at the colisseum or enter yourself, buy a house, assassinate people, become a vampire, create a potion or spell, enchant your weapons, steal absolutely anything of the counter in some guys house while he is asleep and alot more. The reason I gave Oblivion a 9.5 is because I have the game of the year edition which contains both the expantion packs. Oblivion alone is 7.5/10 regardless of its huge flaws, because its still fun to live your life the way you want to, ignore the main quest and do a bunch of side quests instead!

Did anyone ever notice how the only good ubisoft is ubisoft montreal. They made prince of persia, every tom clancy game assassins creed, are making the future game of the year Far Cry 2 and even more! Can anyone name a good ubisoft game from another ubisoft? I doubt there are many.

PS3 currently cannot play music stored on the hard drive during a game, but now they are coming out with a new upgrade in which it can, (xbox has always been able to do it). However on PS3 the game developpers will need to decide to include that feature in the game, where as xbox can do it in all games. Also on that upgrade, a new trophey system will be introduced in which you gain tropheys for completeing certain objectives, its odd but it sounds alot like achievements :lol: once again this is not maditory, but will be included if the developpers want to include it (xbox games requier achivements before publication). The online is also modeling itself after xbox and everyone is all excited about the new voice communication during online play for PS3 which has already been made on the xbox. More and more the PS3 is modeling itself after xbox until there will be no difference between the two besides PS3'S bad load times and worse game selection.

To any PS3 fanboys, dont give me sh!t for this because im only telling the truth, its truly sad that PS3 has even less features then xbox 360 (hence the upgrades) considering it came out a year and a half after. And to top it off sony cant think of their own features so they steal 360's features and change the name to make it seem different. At least this upgrade is not as sh!tty as the Solid State Drive.

Wow halo 3 is a crazy game. there are so many features, ways to customize the mutiplayer, or to move or change items on the map, not to mention the graphics. If there are any xbox owners out there wondering wether or not to get it, you should definitely get it. Also the PC version (when it comes out) will be nice. Probably include extra features and souped up graphics to suit the times.

The xbox 360 is mine!!!!!!!!!!!! Now i just need games................... But seriously, buying it made me realize how truly amazing it is! Its true it is simalar to PC but a simpler more convenient version of it. Although the online is better and more feature packed than PC'S online!

So many games are coming out soon and there is so little money to buy them with. I hope far cry 2 doesn't have to make too many sacrifices in order to fit on xbox 360, it would be a shame. At least they are keeping the weather effects and the flammable environments, that will be awesome! Fallout 3 also does not look to be too bad, better then oblivion thats for sure, but considering the nature of the series, players will probably be starved for action. Im also looking forward to Prince of Persia, looks to be the best of the series which is quite an accomplishment. I still have yet to buy my Xbox 360 so i cant even play the games im looking forward too :(.

I will now answer the long asked question about which is better, xbox 360 or PS3. The PS3 has blu-ray which is the exact same thing as HD DVD (what xbox 360 has) but just can store more on the disks. Even games like GTA4 are only around 8 GB which can be still be stored on a HD DVD, so why blu-ray? The only thing it does, is for games like blue dragon which is 3 disk on xbox 360 would be 1 disk on PS3. WOW, what a great feature :lol:. The xbox and PS3 have the same graphics and sound but the PS3 has long and annoying loading times and installation sequences due to the LAPTOP hard drive featured in the PS3. Apparentley they have just come out with solid state drives (SSD) that can decrease load times, by literally a few seconds, on the other side it increases the installation sequence by minutes, for the low low price of 400-1000$! Pretty lame. just to give you an idea of just how much installation sequences and load times change here are some examples taken straight from gamespot: Devil May Cry 4 takes 21.2 minutes installation on normal drive, and 32.5 on SSD (the expansion). Load times to get to the game menu are 40 seconds on normal drive and 36 on solid state drive. Save game load times are remaining 6 on both. GTA 4 installation sequence is 8.1 minutes normal and 9.83 minutes on SSD. To get to game menu it takes 97 seconds normal and 93 seconds on SSD. Save game load times are 15 seconds normal and 12 seconds on SSD. does anyone else realize just how lame lame the PS3 and that expensive upgrade are. That major flaw could possibly be overlooked if the PS3 had good game selection, but unfortunately it does not. Frankly i am very surprised that the PS3 has not crashed and burned because it is a total waste of money!
