so I just picked up a PS3 not too long ago and had installed sigma and a few save games of oblivion, AC4 and resistance. when i started d/ling games, videos and demos, i noticed that my HD only had 36 gigs on it. now is there a bunch of preloaded stuff on the ps3 when you get it? or did the games take that much space? any one know anything about this? hsuuper
ude thats exactly the games i have cool but anyways when you first start out the ps3 HDD is 47GB.Check your game data utility thats where they take most of the space

[QUOTE="Gamer443"][QUOTE="Sgt_Hale"]Depends on what games you have, VF5 is nearly 3 gigs as well. But anyway, has anyone tried deleting these before to see what effect it has on gameplay?eclipsed4utoo

ummm VF5 is not 3 gigs its 54mb which is 10 tiimes left than 3GB

are you taking about game saves or game data? they are two different things. some games allow you to install the game to the HDD for faster loading. I believe VF5 is one of those games(Genji and RR7 are two others). the game saves would be small like 50MB, but installing the game to the HDD or caching data to the HDD will be much larger files.

sorry my bad i didnt see VF5 have that but oh well i already traded it

i already tried in on XBL. the game mechanics are fun, but can get repetitive fast.

the game is probably worth a rental though.
